Review of The Capital Hotel
I recently visited The Capital Hotel, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The service was extremely disappointing. Despite being a relatively calm day, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive.
One of the most frustrating aspects was that we ordered crispy corn at the beginning of the meal, but it never arrived until we were handed the bill. It took over 30 minutes just to settle the bill, which added to the already frustrating experience.
As for the food, it was just okay—not bad, but not memorable either. The overall experience would have been much better if the service had matched at least a basic standard. For a place with a reputation like The Capital Hotel, I expected far more.
Would I return? Probably not, unless they make serious improvements in their service.
We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday in the banquet hall of this hotel last year and had a very pleasant experience. The food was great, the catering staff was good with all the guests. Hotel rooms (family rooms and deluxe room (hygiene could have been better)) are also good. Mr. Prasad was the marketing/sales manager at that time who promised me the best food and service and I was amazed at how well everything went under his management. The only problem was that the decoration of this hotel was related to a specific person who seemed to charge a little more than usual decoration parties, but the service was satisfactory because they know in and out of this hotel.
We come here on a regular basis. Usually a good place to dine. Good ambience and food is good as well. But in the recent past the quality of food has been consistently not so good. Today I ordered a Mutton Fry-piece Biryani which is so horrible. I’m sorry to say this. Ask the staff to be more receptive and attentive.
Very good hotel in the heart of the guntur city with reasonable pricing.their room service is very good. Staff are courteous. Interiors is good .morning breakfast buffet is excellent with good taste.
Thoroughly enjoyed my few days stay at Capital Hotel in Guntur. The front desk personnel Ms. Rama Devi and Mr. Somasekhar were extremely polite, courteous, well mannered, and helpful.
The young ladies and men that waited on us in both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian sections were always smiling, had a pleasant disposition, and ready to serve in a quick manner.
The room was convenient and comfortable with nice amenities. Food was extremely tasty and a variety of foods are available to satisfy everyone’s palate.
I highly recommend staying at the Capital Hotel, interact with the friendly staff, and enjoy the food – you won’t be disappointed. I hope and plan to be back soon and stay at Capital. Best wishes.
