  1. Booked a banquet hall for kids 1st birthday party. The hall and food were awesome. The service provided by everyone was great except the main person I interacted with throughout the booking process. That is the only reason for giving 3 stars. I had asked for a small hall as there were only 50 people expected but he said another booking came for the hall and said we can go with a bigger hall for 50. I had done the booking through the phone and paid the amount as my cousin had already visited the place. When I went to see the hall later he was not very welcoming. That part was also okay. But just 2 days before the event he calls and asks if we can move to the small hall as they received another booking for the big hall. Since I had already sent the invitation and all did not want to change at the last minute and politely declined. He was like I promised 60 people which I never did and cut the call abruptly. I called and asked why he was doing this and said it was a signal issue. That was the last interaction. Never even bothered to come to the hall during the event or even a courtesy call to check how everything was.

  2. The property is good but the customer care service and attitude is very bad. Mr. Ashwin (front desk executive) has denied mobile charger after several humble requests at 2.40am even for an hour which caused me a lot of trouble including the emergency calls from hospital where my family member is admitted. Appreciate if exemptions are there in a critical condition even if you have rules. I was really disappointed. Please add few valuable members who understand the situation of people.

  3. We had booked 6 rooms for an event along with their gazebo hall and the event occurred on 22/10/2024. The event was inaugurated by honarable industries minister sree Rajeev sir. At the time of booking we clearly informed that we will vacate the room only after the function is over and there were no objection from the person who took the booking. At the day of event, on a crutial moment of the function the reception staff Mr. Stenny paul called my manager and shouted on such a rude behaviour to vacate the room. It was quite shocking for us because we all were busy and engaged in the event, we had addressed the issue to the hotel management and vacated the rooms.
It was quite surprising to see a crowded place like palarivattom having such a big hotel with 2 big party halls and ample parking space. Having a beautiful pool and restaurant inside.the breakfast and lunch were good.
Room space was average, good washroom and centralised air conditioning system.

  4. Disappointing Experience at Renai Hotel, Kochi

I recently hosted an event at Renai Hotel’s Gazebo Hall, which saw a high turnout. Unfortunately, our stay and event experience were marred by them unprofessional attitude of staff especially by Mr. Steny from the Room Allocation Department.

    *Positives:*

    . Awesome F&B
    – Great location
    – Good amenities
    – Spacious Gazebo Hall

    *Negatives:*

    – Uncooperative and unprofessional staff, particularly Mr. Steny
    – Inflexible checkout time, despite hosting a large event on-site
    – Lack of coordination between departments

    *Incident:*

On 22/10/2024, Mr. Steny insisted on checking out our room promptly, disregarding our ongoing event. This caused unnecessary stress and disrupted our preparations for the ongoing event at their venue.

    *Concerns:*

    1. Inconsiderate staff attitude
    2. Poor communication between departments
    3. Inflexible policies

    *Recommendation:*

    Renai Hotel management should:

    1. Address staff training deficiencies
    2. Improve inter-departmental communication
    3. Offer flexible checkout options for event hosts

*Will I return?* Unlikely, due to staff issues.

*Will I recommend?* Only for location and amenities, but beware of staff attitude.

    *Tips for future guests:*

    – Clarify checkout policies before booking, even looking to conduct events
    – Request event-specific arrangements in advance
    – Be prepared for potential staff uncooperativeness

Lastly I need to mention Mr.Jose who is the Venue Arranging Manager with high professional behaviour and attitude. All staffs need to be like Mr.Jose.
