  1. It was a nice experience. Hygiene in public washroom were commendable and there was drinking water taps, public washrooms and mother dairy booth at close quarters.

Please book your tickets online in advance. You can’t take any kind of food inside but water bottles are allowed. There is also facility available to keep your bags.

The zoo is maintained well but need to do a lot more to make it exciting and should add more animals.

Can be a good dayout plan in winters with friends and family.

  2. Our visit to Delhi Zoo was a memorable experience, especially for the kids! The highlight was seeing the lion, tiger, white tiger, and African elephant, though we did miss seeing zebras and giraffes. The zoo is well-maintained, with a good variety of animals, though limited in some areas. I highly recommend booking tickets online to avoid the long queues at the entrance. Overall, it’s a great spot for a family day out, combining fun and learning!

  3. Great place to visit with children and variety of animals there. Important to note that to book tickets online before visiting this place as there is no offline tickets available, to avoid long queues on weekends and get you water bottle tagged to be taken inside zoo. No eatables allowed. Second thing if u have an habit to walk then no need to take golf electric cart inside zoo otherwise take an electric cart and visit places where the electric cart stops and around them. Others are repetition of animals. The maps of zoo displayed at many places inside zoo is usually confusing and due to many interconneting roads inside and u get lost, and golf cart remains no use. Staff does not guide you properly. It will take around 4 hours to walk entire zoo. Its is must and good place to visit with children. Small canteen present outside zoo. And drinking water and small mother dairy outlets present at multiple places inside zoo along with toilets.

  4. It is good if you are visiting with kids because they really enjoy it but for you it is an average place for visit. Book your ticket in advance from there site.
When you enter first you feel very bored because there you see only a lot of dear but when you cross more than half part then you saw lion , elephant, tiger, jaguar, bear and other animal.

The National Zoological Park in Delhi, commonly known as the Delhi Zoo, is a notable attraction for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Situated in the heart of the city, this sprawling 176-acre park provides a serene escape from the urban hustle. The zoo’s well-maintained habitats house a diverse range of animals, including Bengal tigers, lions, and elephants, as well as a variety of exotic birds and reptiles.

One of the park’s highlights is its commitment to conservation and education. The informative displays and educational programs enhance the visitor experience, raising awareness about wildlife preservation. The zoo is laid out in a manner that allows for comfortable viewing, with shaded paths and ample seating. However, some visitors might find the lack of well-marked signage a bit challenging.

While the zoo is generally well-kept, certain areas could benefit from additional maintenance, and visitors should be prepared for occasional crowding, especially on weekends and holidays. Overall, the National Zoological Park offers a delightful and informative day out, with its blend of natural beauty and animal exhibits making it a worthwhile visit for both locals and tourists.

  5. Book ticket online.
Delhi Zoological Park is a wonderful place to visit, especially for families and animal lovers. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, including majestic lions, tigers, hippos, and elephants. I particularly enjoyed seeing the different species of deer and wild boar. The variety of birds is impressive as well, with colorful and rare species that are fascinating to observe.

The enclosures are spacious, and the animals seem well taken care of. Walking through the park is a pleasant experience, as the pathways are well-maintained, and there is plenty of greenery that adds to the natural atmosphere. The foxes and other smaller animals were also a delight to watch.

Overall, Delhi Zoological Park offers a great day out, providing an opportunity to learn about wildlife while enjoying a peaceful environment. It’s a perfect spot for kids to get excited about animals, and for adults to relax and appreciate nature. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Delhi!
