Resort is peaceful and scenic, offering cozy, clean rooms with great views. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the stay enjoyable. Amenities like nature trails are perfect for relaxation. The food is delicious, with a good variety. Overall, it’s an excellent spot for a relaxing mountain getaway.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ilika Resort for four days, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The property is tastefully designed, with spacious, cosy rooms that offer a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff here truly made the stay memorable; they are incredibly courteous and go out of their way to ensure you’re well taken care of. Their warmth and hospitality make them the unofficial ambassadors of the place, always eager to promote the place and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
For anyone planning to book, I would highly recommend opting for the terrace rooms if you’re looking for privacy and seclusion, as these rooms offer a more intimate experience. The other rooms, while charming and well-appointed, have earthen walls, which can sometimes carry a strong smell that may not be to everyone’s liking. We initially stayed in a different room but opted to upgrade after day one, and the terrace room was definitely worth the switch.
However, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The rooms on the ground floor lack sufficient privacy—people from the outside can easily look into the room, which could be uncomfortable for some guests. Additionally, the ground-floor rooms would benefit from more lighting, as they feel a bit dim compared to the upper floors. The terrace rooms, although lovely, could also use a small upgrade in terms of furnishings. The cane chairs present in the ground-floor rooms would be a nice addition to the terrace rooms, as the absence of these chairs makes them feel somewhat like a downgrade in comparison.
The food was another area that left room for improvement. While the menu is extensive, the taste and quality of the dishes did not meet expectations. Even simple items like paranthas were disappointing. I would suggest narrowing down the menu and focusing on a few signature dishes that highlight the chef’s strengths, as the variety seemed to dilute the overall dining experience. Food was a bit of a struggle for us throughout our stay.
One suggestion for enhancing the guest experience would be to offer a paid bonfire with live barbecue service. It would be a great addition to the property, especially given the beautiful, natural surroundings—something for guests to enjoy in the evenings while soaking in the atmosphere.
In summary, Ilika Resort is a beautiful, well-maintained property with excellent service and warm staff. With some tweaks to the food, additional privacy for ground-floor rooms, and a few small improvements in room amenities, it could easily become a top destination in Pauri.

Had a beautiful experience at Ilika resort. The property is away from the hustle bustle so its a perfect place to relax and chill. We went there to celebrate a birthday and Nisha and her staff took a step ahead in decorating the room and arranging cake for us, which really made our evening special. The food was delicious also they have really diverse menu. Rooms were very cozy, clean and decorative and also have ample of space. The staff was also very welcoming and prompt. Lastly the views you’ll see from the balcony are amazingly beautiful, one can’t get enough of it. Totally worth the price !!
Last week I visited this property and had a wonderful stay at this resort in Devprayag! The infrastructure is beautifully designed and complements the natural surroundings. The peaceful ambiance made the experience incredibly relaxing. The hotel management and staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable experience!!
