One of the standout features of the accommodations is the private balconies that allow you to enjoy the fresh mountain air and panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, forests, and snow-capped peaks. At night, you can gaze up at the stars from the comfort of your own room—truly a magical experience.

The staff is incredibly attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating your needs and going above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Whether it’s organizing a private bonfire under the stars, arranging a personalized trek to nearby peaks, or offering local tips and recommendations, the staff excels at creating a tailored experience for each guest.
The resort offers a truly unique dining experience, serving only organic food that is freshly harvested from their own garden. Every meal is a testament to their commitment to sustainability and quality, with vibrant, flavorful dishes that highlight the freshest ingredients. It’s clear that they prioritize not only the health of their guests but also the health of the planet, creating a farm-to-table experience that enhances the overall stay.
The property is truly offbeat with clear view of the Himalayan ranges.
The food is nice, the service is excellent.
However, the quality of the room, the fitting of the bathrooms are not at par with the cost charged.
I spent 4 nights in total at Rudraksh, A Himalayan Retreat is your perfect getaway to reconnect with yourself. The location is close to Kandikhal, Uttrakhand and is nested within a beautiful forest with views overlooking the valley and the himalayan peaks.
The entire property has high quality comfortable rooms. The food (fully vegetarian) was incredibly tasty and they included locally grown spices, vegetables, herbs. I enjoyed freshly squeezed water melon juice and homemade kombucha to accompany the food.
There is a yogashala within the property and it's a great way to start your morning with some meditation. Each room comes with a balcony / garden and is perfect to read and write. Right outside the property, one can hike for ~15 mins to a beautiful sunset spot at the Shiv Temple.
What I loved most beyond the views, the comfort, and the food was the warmth of all the hotel staff. It felt like a family and I am sure I will be back here again in the future!
Beautiful property nestled amongst lush green mountains, owned by people with soul embedded in nature.
Exceptional hospitality with warmth of being home and icing on cake is food cooked with freshly plucked vegetables and fruits …of course grown organically .
Overall must visit place and not to miss the forest walk with bliss of viewing beautiful sunset amongst Kaudia forest .
