We recently stayed at this resort with four families, expecting a pleasant experience, but it fell far short of expectations.
Not Value for Money: For the price, we expected a much higher standard. The services and quality provided do not justify the cost.
Early Check-in Issues: We informed the hotel about our early check-in request three days in advance, but upon arrival, only two rooms were made available, and the reception staff claimed they had no record of our request. This caused significant inconvenience, especially for families with children.
Ambiance and Room Conditions: The ambiance was disappointing. The rooms and washrooms were not clean, and there were noticeable safety concerns, including a cracked ceiling in one of our rooms.
Food Quality: The food was subpar, and there were limited options that matched the quality one would expect at this price range. (Specifically lunch)
Unhelpful Staff: The staff seemed uninterested in assisting guests and were not responsive to concerns or complaints.
“Forest Facing” Rooms: We chose forest-facing rooms expecting a nice view, but were disappointed to find just a few bamboo trees. It was misleading to describe this as a “jungle” experience.
Despite these shortcomings, we would like to give special thanks to Mr. Sharma, who performed live music. His talent and friendly nature brought much-needed joy to our stay and made my birthday celebration memorable.
Final Recommendation: I would not recommend this property based on our experience. Don’t be misled by online images—what you see is not what you get.
The property looked beautiful in the pictures, but once we visited, we realized the rooms were in poor condition. We were surprised to be greeted with an argument about something we hadn’t been told about beforehand. The property was advertised as pet-friendly, but we weren’t told there would be an extra charge. When we asked to cancel, they said it was possible, but we wouldn’t get a refund. It’s a waste of money to be treated this way. Their charges and the hospitality were poles apart. We paid 150 rupees for just maggie and 80 rupees for tea, and even then, we had to call them several times. Even the breakfast had limited options. We were totally disappointed. Even proper cleanliness wasn’t ensured.

The staff is outstanding. Food is outstanding.
One should never miss this resort if coming to Jim Corbett.
The hospitality is at the next level.
Right from the owner till the ground staff all are well behaved and decent and shows utmost professional care.
I must say, money aside ( which is decent and well deserved for a resort of this level ) the services offered are rare to see of this type. Blessed to stay here and the best decision made which has made our trip unforgettable.
I had a fantastic stay. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food quality was exceptional, with a great variety. Room service was prompt and efficient. Highly recommend this resort for excellent service and comfort!
Room service, hotel view, jungle activity, evening singing and karaoke arrangement with all facilities were very good and up to the mark. Specially Mr. Kamal Pant ji, as he has a good knowledge of surroundings and have shared well information as well.
