If you are traveling to Tawang you must definitely not miss the opportunity to stay a halt at this wonderful homestay and experience the hospitality that the host and his family has to offer. We came in as a customer but returned as a family members. From clean n comfortable rooms to delicious home cooked food, with endless discussions, karoke, everything was beyond expectations.. Though we had a different travel plans altogether but their hospitality made us to alter our travel plans and come back again and stay with them during our return journey. One of the most memorable experience during our Tawang trip.. highly recommended stay with them as well explore these beautiful village of Shergaon. Can’t wait to go back..
Shergaon is the one place which will remain etched in my mind for a very long time. There is beautiful fields all around, prayer flags fluttering in the breeze, the mesmerizing chants coming from the nearby monastery and the best part about it was as disconnected as it seemed in the beginning since it was not a commercialized tourist spot, it was even more connected to the roots as the people living in this small place has maintained and continued their cultures & history for over years now.
Lhazom Homestay :
I along with two of my friends vistied this homestay. Without any doubt, this was the best homestay out of the 2-3 homestays available there. Upon arrival,we were warmly welcomed by the host. The family was extremely friendly. We had a really great evening there, with bonfire & Red Wine which obviously added up to the experience and to make it even memorable the host very politely asked us to join in for a karaoke singing session which was the best part of the stay there. The host were so friendly we almost ended going their to their home as complete strangers & brought back memories of sharing a bond as family.
Lekey is an amazing man and his wife Lhazom is a very down to earth person and will take care of your each and every need. The service, ambeince, food and hospitality can’t be found in 5 star hotel.
All respect for Lekey & his wife, they are a true sample of excellent hospitality and we look forward on going back to Shergaon and Lhazom’s homestay very soon in the future!

Truly home away from home. Clean rooms, hot water and great food. We had a great time with hosts Leki and Lhazom and would love to visit them again.
