Beautiful cottages, with amazing views of mountains and the Himalayan range.
Steep and very narrow road, so driving yourself could be challenging.
Simply amazing.
I spent two days here and the whole experience was just mind blowing. Very good location. You can see a glimpse of Himalayas from the front porch. Very quiet, natural and refreshing environment. The rooms are warm and cozy and with full facilities. There’s a TV room and book shelves with books on various topics if that’s your thing. The helpers are very friendly and fixes you up with anything. The only problem there is the water, because the cottage is on the hill they have to bring water up, but the helper will sort you out – save water. It helps everybody.
Do enjoy the campfire.
Beautiful cottages by KMVN. Nice location amid the so called ‘haunted’ church, cemetery and hospital from the British era. Great view of the Himalayan Range on a clear day.
The main Abott Mount is closed for everyone.
However one can go till this church, just before the Abott Mount.
There is nothing to see, yes the peace is there. The place is covered with forest & situated on a hill top.
Did not find it as an appealing place to visit again. Its just okayish.
If you are in Lohaghat you can rather go to the man made lake or the Banasur fort in the town.
Staying there was an amazing part of my life. It is a peaceful place. Haunted house is very near from there. You can see a perfect look of it from monal cottage. There are two people who takes care of you until the time you are there.
