Very good resort, situated just a few minutes away from the Ashram. The rooms are clean, spacious and the staff is courteous. The view from the room is beautiful. Food is good too.
Would definitely stay here if I visit Kainchi Dham again.
Amar Valley Resort is a gem near Kainchi Dham! The property is beautifully situated within walking distance of the ashram, yet it offers a peaceful mountain retreat. The rooms are comfortable, and the service is kind and attentive. The food in the restaurant is excellent, especially the delicious complimentary breakfast buffet. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!!!
I booked this hotel after reading reviews. Only good thing about this place is its location other than that we were completely underwhelmed by the experience.
The bathroom didn’t even have clean water which we could use for shower. For our entire duration of stay ,the water was muddy. The front desk shrugged off the whole issue stating that due to previous night rain, we can’t do anything.
The room service was pathetic. It took minimum 1-2 hours for water to reach room. It took multiple reminders just to get drinking water.
We paid 5000/- + taxes yet the service quality was not up to the mark.
I don’t recommend this place.
Such a pleasant stay. Location is awesome. Its for people looking for a peaceful place for stay. Its located near Neem Karoli Baba temple. Full of scenic views. Staff is very welcoming. Resort is Suitable for couples, friends and family. Food is wonderful. Would love to come for stay repeatedly.
We have been long-time visitors to this resort, even before Kainchi Dham became famous. It has always been a wonderful place to stay. However, since Kainchi Dham gained popularity and the management changed from Bhagwan Bhai to Mohan Mishra, things have been completely different.
Mohan Mishra doesn’t fulfill his promises, arrives late to his desk, and worst of all, he is presumptuous. During our last stay, we didn’t receive our bill, the dustbins were tarnished, and our experience was not as enriching as it used to be due to Mohan Mishra.
The army officer who owns this place should really look into the situation and consider changing the manager.
