Very good resort hotel on the beach front. Very good spacious, neat rooms with bath tubs. The resort has a swimming pool and a beach restaurant. Night dinner on the beach is excellent. The only drawback is the food, which is not very good. We found mice moving on the salad plate when we went for dinner. For morning breakfast we were served with stale sambhar and sour curd. They should take care of this.
I recently stayed at Aquays Resort and had a mixed experience. The property is beautiful and offers great access to the beach during the day, making it a nice place to relax. However, the evenings were quite disappointing. The resort offers a candlelight dinner, which should be a peaceful and romantic experience, but the loud music played in the evenings made it very unpleasurable. Despite making polite requests to the management twice, they turned a deaf ear to our concerns. It’s unfortunate that such a lovely place during the day can become so unpleasant at night. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes.
3 stars for the amazing beach access
Mixed Experience at Aquays Stays
We recently stayed at Aquays Stays in a family room, which was spacious and well-kept. The room was clean, and beach access was convenient, making the location a plus. However, we did encounter an issue with the bathroom, where water was continuously dripping from the ceiling. Although maintenance attempted to fix it, the dripping reappeared in another spot. This was the only major inconvenience in an otherwise comfortable room.
Regarding the restaurant, our experience was mixed. On our first day, we arrived a bit late for breakfast and noticed the staff cleaning the drinking glasses with only water, no soap, and not drying them before setting them out for use. To our surprise, they also served drinks to customers in these inadequately cleaned glasses. When I asked about this, the staff member mentioned that they were too busy to clean them properly. This practice felt unhygienic and was quite off-putting.
Additionally, the breakfast options were limited, and the taste was average. More variety and attention to cleanliness would definitely improve the dining experience.
Overall, while the room and beach access were good, improvements in cleanliness and maintenance would enhance the stay at Aquays stays.
I stayed at this hotel for two days, and overall, my experience was underwhelming.
The ROOMS left much to be desired. They were not up to the mark and seemed to need significant changes or renovations. The furniture and fixtures appeared outdated, and the overall ambiance was far from comfortable.
As for the FOOD, it was just average. There was nothing particularly impressive about the taste or variety. While it wasn’t terrible, it certainly didn’t match the expectations one might have when staying at a hotel.
But the location was Nice no complaints for the location…
We visited this resort expecting a 4-star experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of that standard. While there is one positive aspect, the negatives outweigh it significantly.
Pros:
The resort is located next to the beach, which is its only redeeming quality.
Cons:
Staff Behavior: The staff were rude and unprofessional, making the overall experience unpleasant.
Safety Issues: The resort is situated on the main road and lacks proper security. Anyone can enter from the beach or the front road, especially at night. There’s no sense of safety for guests.
Overpriced Services: They market themselves as a 4-star property, but the rates for everything, including basic services, are overpriced and unjustified.
Poor Facilities: The resort struggles with continuous power issues. Basic amenities like towels were not provided, and the overall infrastructure felt more like a lodge than a resort.
Breakfast Buffet: The buffet was extremely disappointing, with only three options, a few fruits, and some bread. It was far from what you’d expect at a 4-star property.
Conclusion:
This property is not a 4-star resort by any means. Based on our experience, it is closer to a 2-star property, and we would not recommend it to others.
