We recently spent 3 nights at Atali Ganga in Rishikesh, and it was nothing short of amazing! Nestled in the lap of nature with breathtaking views of the Ganges and surrounding mountains, the resort offers the perfect escape from city life.
The cottages were cozy yet spacious, designed to give a rustic, earthy vibe while maintaining modern comforts. Waking up to the sound of the river and the crisp mountain air was a refreshing experience every morning.
What really stood out was the balance between adventure and relaxation. We enjoyed thrilling activities like rafting, rock climbing, and hiking, but could always come back to the resort for a peaceful evening by the fire or a yoga session. The hospitality was exceptional, with staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable.
Dining was a delightful experience as well, with local flavors and fresh ingredients. We particularly loved their emphasis on wellness and sustainability throughout the property.
Overall, Atali Ganga is a hidden gem for anyone looking for a mix of adventure, relaxation, and connection with nature. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to visit again!
Went for a day with family. Beautiful, clean property with good view. Very polite and helpful staff. Very tasty food. Enjoyed it. Swimming pool was also very clean. My kid loved it.
Cons –
It’s a very big property but rooms are tiny..
No TV
No room service at all. Not even a menu card was available in room to order beforehand.
Avoid if you are senior citizen or joint problem as you need to walk a steep climb to go to the rooms.
Sliding door of room was nightmare to lock.
Lighting was inadequate for movement in night.
Lastly very very costly compared to similar properties
Atali Ganga is a very beautiful resort for family leisure and for corporate team outings. This property is outside the Rishikesh city and has a calm & soothing environment. It has a lot of greenery and natural views for Insta perfect pics.
I enjoyed my stay and the hospitality of Atali Ganga.
I recently stayed at Atali Ganga Rishikesh and had the worst experience ever. Despite being told during booking that baby food would be included, we were charged unnecessarily for it. To make matters worse, the sales executive, Tanya, was incredibly rude. She didn’t even bother to greet us or any other guests staying on the property. This level of service is unacceptable, especially given the premium prices they charge. Shame on you, Atali Ganga. I will never recommend this resort to anyone.
In response to Tanya’s reply because there is no such option to reply in response:
Even after your elaborated reply, do you truly believe you valued your customer? No, absolutely not. If you think that greeting is arguing with your customer after a 7-hour journey, then you are mistaken. Upon our arrival, instead of a warm welcome, we were harassed with an immediate push to upgrade and buy a package we had no interest in.
Regarding the kids’ breakfast, despite informing you that our children are under 7 and offering their school IDs as proof since we did not have their Aadhars, we received no response. To make matters worse, when our children, out of curiosity, moved a bed, your staff immediately warned us about additional charges.
Your behavior in the restaurant during breakfast was also disappointing. You were rude and prioritized serving yourself while children were waiting for their meals. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially considering we paid for everything you demanded.
We too are in esteemed businesses and professions (both of our friends are DM cardiologists), but unlike you, we value our customers and patients more than focusing on charging them unnecessarily for renovations, upgrades, and other expenses.
Despite being repeat customers, we were treated so badly that I will never recommend your place to anyone. We were actually there to plan a wedding function for my sister, but thankfully, we have been spared from further disappointment. A piece of free advice for you: until you focus on retaining customers, you won’t succeed in the hospitality business.
In summary, this was the most horrible stay I have ever experienced. I expect better service when paying for a premium experience.

I am so sorry to say but we had really bad experience with the property.
We booked our stay with this property on 23rd Oct night for 24th Oct for 1 night. The whole payment was done online which was 15827/- including the taxes. We received the confirmation for the same.
The next day we visited the property early morning around 9:30-10 AM and due to some reasons the property did not suit us.
Now, nowhere in the confirmation letter was mentioned about the cancellation policy and also there was no verbal communication by the hotel to us about the same and the website too does not mention anything about it.
THE PROPERY DID NOT REFUND EVEN A SINGLE PENNY FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT WE PAID WITHOUT SHARING THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY.
I don’t understand why they took the whole amount without prior intimation.
I understand there are cancellation charges for the cancelled bookings under short notice but keeping the total amount to themselves makes no sense.
