Stay is beautiful and they had extremely limited options of food and time window for food was really less but looking at weather we were supporting towards them with the given food options.
But staff really need some professional training to talk and handle the guest. They can be little more polite. We forgot one of our stuff in the room and when we called back they really talked rudely .
Exotic environment surrounding with hills this place gives a natural beauty to your soul. Staying here with this amazing homestay gives you a feeling of home away from home with home cooked local food, and cozy rooms. You can feel the local authentic food and comfortable neat and clean rooms. They have heaters for winter. Stay here in your next visit to khirsu.
Stayed at basa with my wife and two kids..
Pros – Amazing location, rooms toilets are clean
Cons – main Care taker rahul is not friendly at all, every time asking for extra charges, we requested for paratha without chilly for our kids but he rudely denied for the same. That’s very pathetic from his side, although female staff were very supportive.
If u are coming for location must come, for good hospitality a big no from my side…

A beautiful initiative by Uttarakhand Tourism, efficiently run by a local village womens cooperative group in Khirsu village near Paudi Garhwal on the way to Srinagar Uttarakhand. Authentic local food of Garhwal region. Beautifully constructed and decorated rooms in local architectural style and great Garhwali hospitality. Khirsu village is famous for its scenic beauty peaceful place and great views of Kedarnath peaks.
