Superb hospitality by the owner and staff. Enjoyed home-made local dishes. Thanks to Aunty and staff. Service -5 star. Very nice people.
Location: 5 star as it is close to Tawang Monastery. Also dining area and 4 bed family room has great view.
There is a widespread voltage and power problem in the area. Hence, rooms were too chill even with a room heater, which barely heats. Be ready to layer up with heavy winter clothes.
One suggestion to the owner is to have an information booklet for tourists, which includes local shows and activities. ( Snow lion dance, War memorial shows) People come from very far places with very difficult drive..hence the more they learn and immerse in the local culture the better.
Bumla pass was arranged. But know that 5500rs is for point to point. Shungetser Lake and Bumla. Driver does not allow you to stop in between unless you are ready to pay extra. So discuss with the host before you go and set the detailed expectations on your need.
Overall, it’s very good.
Stayed here during my 3 days of stay in Tawang. The rooms are spacious and clean with all necessary amenities. Its also within walking distance from Tawang monastry and has a great view. If someone is looking for a quite place away with a view to cherish would suggest a stay here.
The staff there are helpful and very welcoming. They also provided car for travelling to Bumla pass.
Me and my husband stayed at Bliss Homestay in Tawang, and it was a truly great experience. Deva and Aunty made all the arrangements as if we were their own family, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. The homestay is in a serene location, offering nice views of the mountains and a peaceful ambiance that perfectly complements the natural beauty of Tawang.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided. Their hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable, and their local knowledge was invaluable in helping us explore the area.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious home-cooked meals. The food was fresh, flavorful, and gave us a taste of the local cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Very good behaviour. It is very clean. They provide geyser, room heater and if there is power cut they have inverter and they provide hot water in rooms whenever we need. Food is also very good. I will recommend to stay here if you need homely atmosphere.
The owner of this place denied checkin despite of the booking in MakeMyTrip. The audacity of the owner is so worse that she did not pick up the call where MakeMyTrip team called them to understand why she denied.
Please don’t book this place or any homestay in any of the hill stations. Rather book a hotel
whom have all the facilities.
Reply from Owner: Absolute non-sense. There was no mis-behaviour from our end. Imagine riden a bike in below 10 degree Celsius for 10 hours thinking we will get accomodation which was booked well in advance. We have not barged in to the homestay without any prior booking. We have booked it in MakeMyTrip. The owner of the place was absolutely fine.
I will still do not recommend Bliss homestay. Don’t book any stay here.
