I recently stayed at blue pine resort, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. Upon arrival even at 1. 30pm our room #30) was not ready due to ongoing cleaning. We asked for another room or uograde but the hotel was fully booked, which was frustrating after a long journey. When we finally got into our room, we noticed that the bedsheets and blanket cover had visible dirt marks, and the tables had dust collected on them. Additionally, the bathroom walls were dirty, and the toothbrush and toothpaste provided were already used. The buffet food was decent, offering 3options plus sweet/rice/breads on a positive note, the view from the property was amazing, providing a beautiful backdrop that made the stay more enjoyable. While the staff were polite, the cleanliness issues overshadowed their efforts. However, the hotel manager offered us a discount at checkout, which was appreciated. I hope my experience was an anomaly, as i had high hopes for this stay. I would recommend the hotel to improve their cleaning standards before i consider returning.
Great location for the valley views. All rooms are valley facing. The top most rooms are having the best view but are the farthest from the restaurant. The whole hotel is on a slope. The activities area is very nice for the children and adults can also try it. Swimming pool is very scenic and inviting.
Rooms were not good considering the tarrif. The plaster is coming off. The bathroom fixtures are broken. The tv needs to recharged and is done after reminding twice.
Food is nice taste wise and the bon fire was a nice arrangement. The morning breakfast is scrumptious and tasteful.
All in all a value for money resort only if the rooms are renovated well.
Good resort to stay with family. They have different types of 37 rooms. We stayed in family room. They have plenty of activities which may keep you busy entire day. Swimming Pool is good and caretaker keeps the pool and surroundings clean. Just need to improve food quality and taste. Dinner buffet menu was quite small and chicken was not cooked well and once they start offering good food they will be unbeatable in Lansdowne for sure. Overall I will love to visit there again!
It’s nice property, have 36 rooms in different categories, food is really very good, the property have lots of indoor activities like adventure sports, billiard table etc. They have good banquet hall which makes it a worthy for destination wedding. View from rooms is mesmerizing. Resort have a dedicated view point on the top of hill to capture nature at its best. Location is good, at a distance of 3 km from lansdowne. Room size is good with all basic amenities. You have many points developed open air to enjoy your snacking in the midst of serenity
I had the absolute worst experience at the Blue Pine hotel in Lansdowne. The level of cleanliness was shockingly poor. The bed sheets were clearly not washed and had a musty odor, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The fridge in the room was disgusting and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages, with old food residue and stains all over. The washroom was an absolute horror show, with grime and dirt everywhere, and it was clear that it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The room itself was filthy, and it was evident that the cleaning staff had done a half-hearted job at best. To top it all off, the bathroom equipment was damaged, adding to the overall feeling of neglect and lack of maintenance. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to think twice, as the level of cleanliness and upkeep is completely unacceptable.
