Good place, not worth the money that you end up spending but in the middle of the village where there is very few things to do this place at least has good scenic views with a simple and nice host.
Did not look too secure and the rooms were nice, but they can do better in terms of cleanliness, especially bedsheets and area below the bed, below the table and corners and all in all not bad at all.
So go ahead and book it.
Chandra homestay is a wonderful quiet homestay. We had a very beautiful time out there. The members of the homestay treat you like a family. We had homecooked food and they provided us the space for campfire also. A trip to kainchi will bless you with blissful darshan of Baba and a pleasant stay at Chandra homestay. Do visit.

I had a wonderful time at this awesome homestay. The location of this homestay is very good. Also the warmth of the host Naresh Tiwari ji and his family was great. They were very helpful and took all possible care of their guests, including arranging campfire in the night and so on. Thank you very much.
