The rooms are filthy with a lot of rat droppings all over. The pictures they have posted online and the ones given are just not the same.
The rooms have no road to it. It is a trek down to reach it. Very very hard to carry the luggage down and back up.
The staff there are horrible and lie. Their owner is a bigger liar.
There is no geyser in the bathroom. There is no hot water. They will tell that they would heat it and give a bucket but later give some reason and don’t give that either. If you plan to go here, be assured that your vacation is doomed.
They have generated many fake reviews on Google.
I stayed in Amar Resort for 2 days during my tungnath-chamdrashila trek. My experience was fantastic. The location is superb, located in the lush green valley. The room was very good & spacious. The conduct of the staffs & especially the owner was very very good. All of them were very honest, helping & down to earth.
One more thing I would like to mention here. While I was returning to chopta bus stand, my wallet fell in the car. I contacted the resort owner & he was so very helpful. He successfully searched my wallet & sent one staff to deliver my wallet at chopta bus stand. Thank you once again for such warm hospitality. Me, my family & all my friends will always stay in amar resort whenever I visit chopta.
Pros – Being a new property, clean rooms & washroom, clean sheets, great view, close proximity to Tungnath temple.
Cons – No state provided electricity but that’s the case with even in tents
If you’re someone who prefers a room over tents, then Amar Resort is a beautiful option.
Staff is very well behaved & cooperative.
I recommended it is very beautiful place in chopta, Bhulkan , and the view you can see at every time will be very fabulous here. And their rooms were very neat and clean also the services was very appreciating.
Despite arriving late at night, our family was warmly welcomed at CHOPTA The Mini Switzerland AMAR RESORT. The host went above and beyond, guiding us from the main road to the resort. The accommodations were comfortable, and the scenery was breathtaking. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!
