During our visit to Binsar we stayed at Club Mahindra Valley Resort, and we decided to visit this property to know what this place offers. This was a beautiful resort. I would say this property was well planned and built. We had a look at all categories of rooms. We loved it all.
A guest cannot take the vehicle to the property directly. The vehicle has to be parked at the Valley Resort, which is situated 0.5 km away from Villa Resort.
Their own vehicle will be arranged by the staff at the reception during check-in. There will be a minimum charge of Rs. 50 for commuting to the Villa resort. It hardly took 10 minutes for the vehicle to be made available, and it’s just less than a 10-minute drive to the resort.
The resort was very clean and neat.
Amazing Stay, Exceeded Expectations!
I had an incredible experience at club Mahindra Binsar From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The check-in process was smooth. Big thumbs up to Kamal on provide the prefect service.
The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The restaurant offered exceptional service, and the food was delicious with a variety of options. Chef devan was good.
The overall experience was great but the food was not upto the mark it was the worst food i ever had in a good resort also the prices of food were also at a higher side rest all the things were good rooms were neat and clean all the necessary amenities were their the overall resort was good just the food is par below average
I have had the worst stay at Binsar Villa out of all the club Mahindra resorts I have stayed. The location overall was amazing however, there was no clarification that there’s 2 places to stay – Villas and Valley. We were given Villas. To get there they only allow Club Mahindra vehicles and this is chargeable. It is ridiculous that guests have to pay to get back to the base level to get to any human habitat. It felt like a torture jail up there in villas due to chargeable service. The road down here is not well maintained nor well lit hence goes away our chance to walk down and only use chargeable service. Why should guests pay for a non-maintained road in an old jeep to go back and forth.
The food up on the villas was one of the worst experiences I have had at any club Mahindra too. The items in the buffet were cold and after repeated mentions to the servers nothing was done. Papads were soggy due to humidity and bread in the breakfast was stale and dry. The ambience and arrangement was all scattered and one has to scramble around to get the food. When complained the manager about the food issues, chef came out and addressed the same and tried to resolve the matter. we were asked to complete a feedback on paper at the end of dinner, which we did. After a few minutes my mom and uncle walked past the manager’s counter and unbeknownst to him, they saw him brush away the feedback paper and suggesting the waiter to get rid of it.
We got back to our allotted room and outside the door we saw a mattress that was supposed to be set up in our room. The condition of the mattress was worst – it was dirty, with holes and worn out. That mattress belongs to recycling bin. We had complained about all of these issues to the manager.
The bathrooms were a next level worst experience. The floors have laminate (this laminate is usually placed on furniture tables) and there was no window for air circulation in bathroom. We kept running the exhaust all day yet humidity would not go down and bathroom would have typical humid stench. The rooms were badly lit, with messy humidity patches around walls. The windows and doors do not have any mosquito nets hence we cannot keep windows or doors open for good air circulation.
There are some serious issues with management here. I never read google reviews before visiting any club Mahindra resorts, once I had the above issues I did go through the reviews to check if other guests had been through the nightmare me and my family had. Looks like all of the above complaints are consistent since last 3 years on Google reviews and yet nothing has been done to improve.
At the checkout my mom went for a stroll around the resort in the valley and she was amazed by how well maintained it was. The rooms had mosquito nets, well lit around with plenty of fresh air and light. Why not have these nets up in the villas too?
Unfortunately with all of the above issues, we decided to checkout 1 day early sacrificing our precious nights from membership and on top of that, stayed at Radisson Blu in Pantnagar. I am happy to provide the bill for the same as well. We were accompanied by my uncle and aunt as they wanted to check out the stay before buying membership for themselves. Club Mahindra lost the chance here of getting a new member as my uncle refuses to get the membership after having the above experience.
Located on top of a hill, it offers amazing views of the valley. One can spot numerous birds from the balcony of the rooms or just by sitting in the garden.
