I recently stayed at Cygnett Inn Paras, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant and unsafe experience. Upon trying to take a shower, the water had a strong, foul smell, similar to sewage. I was covered in this water, which caused me to develop a rash shortly after. What was more concerning was the complete lack of action from the management. Despite informing them about the situation, no steps were taken to address the issue. This is not just a matter of discomfort; it is a serious health and sanitation risk. I strongly advise against booking this hotel. It is unsafe, and in its current state, it should not be operating due to these sanitation concerns.
It should not considered like hotel but we can say it’s like Bus adda wala kaam chalaau lodge.
Single dial no assigned for everything in room like housekeeping call to reception, for kitchen service call to reception.
You have to give the effort multiple time to get service.
Pest control not done and house of mosquitoes
I visited their hotel on July 19th for one night with my wife. At night, from 12 AM to 1 AM, someone kept knocking on our door, disturbing us. Those people were drunk, and I don’t know if they were staff members or other guests. When I called the reception for help, nobody picked up.
It’s the hotel’s responsibility to ensure such incidents don’t happen, but Cygnet Paras Dehradun turned out to be very insecure. In the morning, when I went to speak to the manager during checkout, he wasn’t there, and I was told he was on holiday.
If someone with a weapon had entered our room that night, what could I have done?
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s very unsafe.
Very mediocre for the price. Dated bathroom, extremely overpriced food that tastes terrible, no hot water early in the morning. Staff try to help without much effect. I would look elsewhere. Very disappointed.
