This place is beautifully located, food is simple and delicious. Service is awesome. Staff is very courteous.
Rooms are reasonably priced
Only one thing I found negative was this place is not convenient for elderly people.
They should do something about this as I would love to get my mom here next time.
I have been to Darbar twice now in last 6 months. Reasons are many but a few I shall list here:
1. Close to Delhi/ NCR
2. Location is offbeat yet not raw and is in close proximity of Chamba village
3. Stay is pleasantly lovely as the property is such a good mix of rustic heritage and all modern amenities.
4. The food is to die for. One thing, people often don’t realise in hospitality business that food is such key ingredient for a pleasurable staycation. Darbar on the other hand, does it so well that I never even ask the menu.
5. Shivani ( manager ) at Darbar makes sure that the experience is above the expectations.
Not a paid post but good places need appreciation.
The place was great and awesome, away from the city’s hustle bustle and the views from the place are just amazing, absolutely the food and the service was next level and the host is super friendly and down to earth, will be coming again to the place again soon☺️☺️☺️
Darbar – A heritage Farmstay offers a different but an Unique kind of experience.. No TV in the room, no phone a call for Room service.. But they have blended all basic amenities of good quality in the rooms..
The hosts take good and proper care of the guests. Clean, cosy and small rooms without AC – we don’t need that even during Peak summer (we were here during May).
The staff is very cooperative and courteous…
Comments:
1. Come and stay here if u r nature lover as it doesn’t offer all that fantasy and luxuries / amenities that we normally get and find in Resorts…(this is not a Resort but a Farmstay).
2. The food is quite delicious and tasty but with limited options and variety.. u will not get fancy fast food kind of stuff.. However they offer authentic snacks and delicious Sabji and Dal dishes
3. Small but well managed and maintained property.
4. Pls avoid traveling to this place if you are in a group of more than 12 people as with limited staff and resources it sometimes give a feeling that they are not well equipped and efficient for a larger groups..
Worth recommending for a maximum stay of for 2/3 days and roam around the beautiful places or just relax at the property with treks all around.
I had recently booked the whole property and there were 15 dogs. Words just don’t do justice how amazing the property is. Amazing is an understatement, it’s beyond that it’s absolutely gorgeous.
The view is great, we were in the middle of forest and it gave us vampire diaries vibes. Rooms were not only premium but also very hygienic. The food was to die for. It was home cooked and so authentic and so good. They also serve awesome cold coffee. And the service is super fast. The staff is very helpful
Much recommend
