The camp is located inside the Kaziranga National Park and offers a serene and peaceful getaway for those seeking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Set amidst lush natural surroundings, the camp provides a quiet, isolated setting, a perfect spot for nature lovers looking for a calm and undisturbed stay.
It is also very economical compared to other hotels nearby. The owner is courteous and helpful, provided you abide by the camp rules and are considerate of the peaceful environment of the camp. They also offer jeep safaris at a very reasonable cost.
I have visited twice and had no complaints.
If you want a alone life then must visit this place. Bamboo cartage with minimum basic facilities like attached bathroom and a normal room light. Only one charging point, no night lamp in room. Food is good separate dining room no room service. It’s next to kaziranga NP so silent everytime.
If you want a slow, relaxing, relaxing quiet stay with a great view amidst nature without any doubt ,book your stay in Dhansiri Eco Camp. The owner of the camp is a good hearted and helpful person, not only him other staff members are also well behaved and nice people. The food was so delicious.
I read a lot of negative reviews but still decided to go as the person who suggested this resort knows my preferences.. everything was superb..the stay..the food.. the host and obviously the location. For about 4 km there is mud road but even I was able to make it with my automatic car without difficulties. Went alone and enjoyed the stay .it is a serene place and is meant for people who enjoy nature at its best..
We went their for 5 Nights but due to some work had to cut shot for 4 nights, but it was an amazing experience, Mr. & Mrs. Gautam are very humble, even though we met Mrs. Gautam for a very brief period she left a very good impression on us.
Me and my friend fortunately or unfortunately stayed their all alone, at that time there were no guests apart from us, and both of them especially Mr Gautam tried his best to make us comfortable. I don’t know why some reviews said its not safe, its completely safe, we were just 2 girls but we spent are stay in peace. Their few point one must need to remember.
Being in remote area and close to national park he tried his best to keep everything minimal and hence no loud music, dim light n lights off to give wildlife their space, plus we experienced wild Buffalo and hog deer roaming at night so its better to be in room just for safety concern, and outside room there’s small balcony so one can spend night sitting n chatting there. Do Carry snacks or chips as its bit inside so no shops available, but on request he can give yummy pakora n maggi.
Food was very fresh , only thing is there’s repetition in some dishes but non veg option are good.
He took care of our safaris, waterfall trek, boat ride gibbon sanctuary visit and gave us lots of info about park and wildlife around. Rooms are very basic with a small attached washroom no hot water, but can provide on demand. If you are looking for a luxurious stay then it might not satisfy you.
Overall its an awesome experience near the property their’s an open grasslands for leisure walk and birding.
I would really recommend this place for a true escape from daily life .
