The staff there are very friendly and accommodating. We did scuba from there itself and had a really great experience. The food is also tasty. The beach there has dead corals, so we can’t go for a swim there. The steps in the villa are a bit steep, so can be tough for elders. Better to contact them while booking and make sure of that. Overall, if you’re planning to do scuba or snorkeling, you can have both accommodation and the activities here itself.
We are quite amazed why this place is still not popular among tourists. Whether you are an eco-traveller or a luxury one, there is room for all types.
Perfect location, good hospitality, all amenities are decent and they have very good certified scuba instructors who are eco-divers engaged in restoring the coral reefs.
They have A beautiful private beach and a pool, with scuba diving provided in the beach itself . Rooms are basic and food is average, but all the staff are very courteous. Overall, a very welcoming atmosphere, and a must stay if you visit Havelock Island.
The Location is the best and unique to only Eco Villa Palm beach resort in Havelock. Its the only resort closest to the beach and you can dine on the beach as well. Rooms have a great view of the sea and surprisingly bigger than your average room in hotels or resorts. Sajan (owner ) and his team ensured we had a great time. The place is best for Scuba and you will miss it if not experienced it first hand. The food and Service was also great by the inhouse restaurant . What i understood is the food ingredients and supplies are dependant on ships from the mainland which adds to the cost for the island. Overall a must visit for those visiting Havelock.
Quite average for the price paid in my opinion . I stayed in tsg blue as well for 1 night and paid just 500 extra but the difference was day and night . Although the property is beautiful with a lot of potential
Pros->
1- private beach with good vibes
2- Rooms are spacious and the villa has two double beds which was great
3- There aren’t a lot of rooms so the resort does not gets crowded
4- The food is great and the cook is a really nice guy .
Cons-
1- There are 4-5 dogs roaming inside the resort which makes the experience unpleasant
2- The pathway leading to the resort isn’t well lit at night
3- Room lacks almirah , toiletries /dental kit , tv and isn’t well painted
4- The resort is really understaffed , there are just 4-5 guys taking care of the entire resort . Also the staff isn’t very welcoming and you will be treated differently if you aren’t taking scuba dive package from them . Service is slow as well and you have to ask multiple times for small issues .
5- The pool is really small and not clean as well
6- Breakfast options are really limited ( just 2-3 items ) and that too not unlimited. In tsg blue resort there was a buffet of 15 dishes in an AC restaurant
