Floating Huts at Tehri – An Unforgettable Experience!
Just reached home, and the first thing I wanted to do is share this review of our amazing visit.
The concept of staying in floating huts on a vast, beautiful lake surrounded by serene mountains is simply amazing. Spending two days literally on the waters of the Ganga feels humbling and exciting all at once. The huts are clean, cozy, and provide a unique connection to nature.
The staff’s hospitality is remarkable; they were always ready to assist, despite the unique challenges that come with this location. Concerns about safety proved unnecessary—just avoid bringing very young children for a more relaxed stay. The food was good, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature!

Rooms are very neat and clean.. View is very very good.. Staff is very friendly and polite..
Food is amazing and delicious.. Especially breakfast in buffet.. The rates of floating huts is high but it is worth… I think everyone should must go there.. Live Music with dinner is also a very good experience.. View while going to huts by boat is very amazing and good.. Teri lake surrounded by mountains is such an exquisite place. The concept n idea of being in the middle of lake is remarkable 👌had spent some amazing time over here. Their food is ok types. But the staff is humble n supportive 👍

“I stayed here for 2 days and the room wasn’t cleaned on time. I didn’t receive good service. I would like to say that before booking any place, do thorough research because not every place is as it looks in the photos. The staff behavior was also very rude. The staff was very dirty and there was no cleanliness in anything. A lot of improvement is needed. They only have one or two staff members and make them do all the work. A hotel can’t be run by just one or two staff.
Just wow… Good view and good place…. Too far from the city but worth staying there
Location is nice but the service is pathetic. Water and electricity supply is not reliable. Dinner and breakfast was running out before the time. Nothing seems premium and luxury here except the room charge of INR 32000. Come On !! I would not give even INR 10000 for such pathetic experience of stay and service. They keep us waiting for almost an hour for the boat pick up and drop. Such a simple waste of time and money.
I would not seriously not recommend this place to anybody.
