Horrible Experience – Would Not Recommend!
I recently stayed at this hotel with my sister and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Upon entering the room, I was immediately hit with a musty, unpleasant odor that made it clear the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or ventilated in a long time. The stench was unbearable, making it hard to relax or even breathe comfortably.
The bathroom was in a shocking state. The toilet bowl was filthy, with visible stains that looked like they hadn’t been scrubbed in ages. The tap was covered in grime and the water pressure was weak at best. I honestly felt more disgusted than refreshed after using the facilities.
To make matters worse, the bedsheets had multiple holes and were stained in several places. It was impossible to ignore the poor condition of the bedding — it felt like it hadn’t been replaced or washed properly in months. The linens looked old and worn out, and I couldn’t even bring myself to sleep under them. I tried to request new sheets, but even the replacement ones were not much better.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It was clear that the management is not concerned with cleanliness or guest comfort. The room, bathroom, and bedding were all filthy, and the smell made everything worse. I will never stay here again, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you enjoy staying in unsanitary conditions.
Horrible staff, they threatened us to pay more money than the booking amount. Staff was fighting with us so that we can pay more money than the chargeable amount. Not at all recommended
So as per your investigation we definately asked for an extra bed as there were three people in one room. But the bed was of very poor quality so we asked him to take mattress back as we three tried to adjust in the main bed itself. Now comes the matter, we paid 5000 for two rooms which included 800 rupees of extra bed. Now on the time of check out I asked the receptionist to refund 800 rupees of extra mattress as we have not taken extra mattress. But as per the receptionist, as there was an extra person so you will be charged 300 for that extra person but later he talked to someone and then he said that you have to pay 800 , then i told him that earlier you told 300 for extra person but then he started arguing that no i told you 800 then afterwards he started saying that you will charged 500 for extra person. i told him that you said 300 earlier then he started arguing that no i told you 500 only. On asking him to show me the camera audio recording for the proof he started threatening us. So there is no fixed rate for extra person they charge as per there wish. And the way he was talking to us, it was like he is threatening us for payment.
The hotel staff displayed exceptional hospitality, ensuring all my needs were promptly addressed. The room provided a comfortable stay,The dinner served at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals I had during my trip. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gulmarg and looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Affordable and one of the best hotels in Delhi. I have been staying in Delhi for so long but this is one of the cleanest hotels with really good service. Food quality is good as well.

The amenities included free Wi-Fi and a small gym, which were appreciated. Breakfast was decent but could use more variety. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help. Overall, Gallivanto Inn offers good value for a comfortable stay. I would recommend it for both leisure and business travelers
