Rooms are perfect and serve the purpose with good value for money at 2k per night and service is good as well. Local people who serve with love. They can serve most of the food in your room or outside area which is best. Location is beautiful and offers great views and be mindful of the last 200 metres climb to property which can be tricky as it is too steep
It was very nice experience, I was there with family for 2 days from 7th October 2024 to 9th October 2024, staff is very humble and cooperative, food quality is good, ample space for activities, peaceful property, I love to visit this property again n again
Our stay at Garhwal House was wonderful and the view of the morning here mesmerized us. Garhwal House is very beautifully built and their staff is very respectful and the food here is also very tasty, their gram flour curry (kadhi) is worth praising.
Our 6-day stay at Garhwal House in Kanatal was nothing short of magical! We worked from hills.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the sheer beauty of this hidden gem nestled in the Uttarakhand hills. The super deluxe room was a cozy haven with breathtaking views that left us speechless every single morning. Waking up to misty mountains and cotton candy clouds dancing outside our window? Priceless!
The facilities were top-notch, especially for us remote workers. The internet connection was so reliable, we almost forgot we were perched high up in the Himalayas! It was surreal to be on video calls with the majestic mountains as our backdrop – talk about office envy!
Now, let’s talk about the staff – they weren’t just good, they were exceptional! The hosts, the chef, and every helping hand went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were part of the Garhwal House family. Special shoutout to the chef – those meals were divine and kept our taste buds dancing throughout our stay!
The weather was like Mother Nature’s own little show just for us! Misty mornings that cleared to reveal stunning vistas, surprise rainbows, and the occasional gentle shower that made everything smell so fresh and clean. Each day brought a new weather surprise, making every moment exciting and Instagram-worthy!
Driving our own car up those winding roads was an adventure in itself. The thrill of navigating those hairpin bends, with each turn revealing more breathtaking views – it was exhilarating! And when we reached the top? The staff were right there, ready to help us with the uphill parking. Now that’s what I call service!
The environment around Garhwal House is a nature lover’s paradise. We found ourselves constantly in awe of the ever-changing landscape. One moment we’d be above the clouds, feeling on top of the world, and the next, we’d watch in wonder as mist rolled in, transforming the scene into something out of a fairy tale.
Thank you, Garhwal House, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back and fall in love with Kanatal all over again!
Amazing property with GRT views of sunset, sunrise and Himalaya.Orange cottage and Deluxe Rooms are all clean and well maintained.Nice Garden, parking etc.Food is Homely and excellent.Stayed from 4/6 to 6/6 after booking it on recommendation by blog of OTA expert Seema Ji.Really it is a place to relax and visit again and again.
