Our experience with Tiptop Resort was nothing short of disappointing. Hoping for a pleasant stay, we decided to explore booking a room here, but the encounter left us frustrated and dissatisfied. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, showing little to no interest in answering our questions. Their attitude seemed to convey, “Book if you want; otherwise, leave.”
The lunch options were also very limited, and there appeared to be no willingness to accommodate guests’ preferences. To make matters worse, we heard unsettling stories about guests being locked out, which only added to our unease.
While the resort does offer access to nearby attractions, this was hardly enough to redeem the overall experience. It’s baffling how this place manages to garner positive reviews, given the lack of basic hospitality we encountered.
Ultimately, we decided against staying there, and I would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations. With such rude staff and poor service, Tiptop Resort is far from the relaxing retreat one would expect. It’s an experience I would not recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway.
GMVN Lansdowne is located at the top point. So, the location is an added advantage as the Top view Point, Travel and Trip Cafe, Church, Santoshi Mata Mandir, Sunset Point all are at a walking distance. If you are a walking enthusiast, you can even go to Bhulla Lake also.
The property is spacious and has lush green beauty with trees, flowers and small breakfast area in front of each wooden hut. The room details are given on GMVN site and the charges are fixed. The big lawn in front of reception area is covered with grass carpet and has swings for small kids.
We have opted for family suite huts which has 2 bedrooms and in the living area, there was a Sofa cum bed. It has 2 bathrooms and basic amenities like toiletries, towels, kettle, mini fridge etc.
It has bar and a restaurant.
At night you can connect your mobile with speakers for a small party arrangement.
Food is simple and has homely touch. Breakfast usually comes free with Family suite huts only. Breakfast doesn’t have much variety.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
The room phone was not working in our room.

Very peaceful environment and service was also good.
The food and drinks prices are very reasonable..
Would recommend to take Super Deluxe Room as it has a separate TV lounge…
The restaurant is at the top location but still there was such bad service. The owner literally does not know how to do business. We went to the restaurant here, the location and everything is good but the service is so bad. We were a family of 8, we ordered food and told the server to give us water first and then serve food. Had to wait 30 mins when i finally thought i should ask where is our food and water. They literally forgot about our order and asked me which table and how many people we were. Such bad service. Even the people around us were waiting for 1 hr without any food
Every thing is just awesome very beautiful place good rooms nice view and ultimate weather experience but the food quality is just pathetic very bad experience in terms of food and services. Just don’t expect good food from them except dal roti.
