The Green wood beach resort is at a beautiful location. The beach is just walking distance with kind of personal access. Clean water and shallow beach.
The staff is helpful. The kitchen here is the best you can ask. Homely food as far as Indian taste is concerned.
The staff understands Hindi, English and Bengali.
It’s worth every Rupee you pay, very calm and serene for people who don’t want any disturbance. Awesome private beach just behind the hotel. Special appreciation to their Staff Ms.Malathi who prepared our food and took care of us.
A decent place to stay, rooms aren’t that great but the resort is very quiet and peaceful, it is a beach side resort, a sit out near the beach would make it more beautiful. Overall decent for a 1 night stay
This is a budget friendly resort that’s located right at the beach. From our room, the beach was hardly 50 metres. And the beach is really beautiful and isolated. Room was very clean with neat linen, powerful AC and hot water. Roughly we paid 2500 per night so do not expect luxury kind of stay but what i liked was that the staff was very helpful and everything was neat and clean.
Location is superb. There is a super market very near to this resort that makes life kind of easy and there are some good food options too. This resort offers food as well but I would not recommend as I did not feel confident about ther food hygiene and also, I ordered a cup of tea that was pathetic so i wouldn’t recommend this place for food. Otherwise if I am staying for 7 or even 10 nights, I can stay here without any difficulty.
My stay at this hotel was delightful, primarily due to its private beach access, which provided a peaceful and serene experience. The rooms were well-maintained and clean, contributing to a comfortable stay. Nearby shops provided convenience for purchasing essential items at MRP, although it’s worth noting that there were no nearby pharmacies. Additionally, while there weren’t any restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the hotel’s restaurant offered delicious meals, albeit at a slightly higher price point. The taste of the food was exceptional, enhancing the overall experience. Regarding room amenities, the bathroom was good; however, more thorough cleaning would elevate it to an excellent standard. Overall, it’s a great choice for a tranquil beach stay, with room for improvement in cleanliness.
