A Hidden Gem in Kaziranga
Our stay at Habitas Rhino Resort was an unforgettable experience! Nestled amidst lush tea estates, the resort offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural charm. The beautiful bamboo cottages were not only cozy but also reflected the local craftsmanship, adding a touch of authenticity to our stay.
One of the highlights was the traditional food—especially the pork curry, Assamese thali, which was absolutely delicious! Every meal was a delightful exploration of Assamese flavors, made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
The serene surroundings, warm hospitality, and attention to detail make this resort a must-visit for anyone traveling to Kaziranga. Highly recommended for nature lovers and food enthusiasts alike!
We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it.
The place is quiet, perfect for disconnecting and being close to nature.
The small houses are simple and very clean.
It is possible to go for a walk behind the hotel where there are tea plantations.
The hotel food is very good (the thali is delicious 🤤 !).
The staff is very kind and always ready to help and ensure that the stay is as pleasant as possible. Thanks to them 🙏.
Not forgetting their mascot Happy 🐶 which is adorable.
Habitas Rhino offers excellent hospitality and delicious meals, making it a fantastic place to stay. This setting in the middle of nature adds to the location, which is extremely well-maintained and safe. The bamboo cottages are quite clean and well-designed. We relished authentic Assamese cuisine. I heartily endorse this location as an excellent option for a tranquil natural retreat.
The cottages are clean, bathrooms are good. Hot water available. However cottages tend to get hot during afternoons as there is no AC. In winters it will be great. Food and hospitality was good though service is bit slow. Garden area should be maintained and maybe few outdoor seating arrangement can be done..Overall a great experience.
Recently we stayed here in October 2024. We were 9 of us. Fantastic huts. Very clean. It has this beautiful tea estate behind the resort. Surrounded by greenery. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Very hard working people. Fantastic food. Anything you order provide is tasty. The owner is a fabulous person. He is there to welcome guest and looks after their comfortable stay.
Must stay if ur visiting Kaziranga.
