  1. The property has great Aesthetics and beautiful view inside the rooms and the restaurant is lit with several led lights. The staff is very cordial which made our stay eventful. We would not miss a chance to recommend Haywizz to friends and family members.

  2. It’s a decent hotel, very close to the jetty. All locations are near to the hotel. Food is okay. The service should be improved. The check in is at 12 but check out is 8 am. This is very strange. I had a 1 hour wait time for checking in. The room interiors are dark, specially the toilet. 👍

  3. One of the worst resorts we have stayed in our travel history. Basic amenities were lacking. Poor wifi connectivity, Generator backup was poor, frequent short circuit was happening which was dreadful and frightening. Towels, napkins were rough for the skin as well. Overall pretty disappointing stay and not worth it all.

All they try to sell you is a candle light dinner which super expensive and not even worth it.

  4. We stayed at Haywizz for two nights during our visit to Swarajdeep Island. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Swarajdeep port, eliminating the need for transportation. The staff were welcoming and provided good hospitality. The food was satisfactory, though there’s room for improvement. The property features a well-maintained swimming pool, which is a nice amenity.

There are a few areas for improvement, one being the check-out time. Throughout the Andaman Islands, the check-out time is set at 9 AM, which can be inconvenient for travelers. A more suitable check-out time would be 11 AM or 12 PM. When we arrived at 2:30 PM, despite the official check-in time being 12 PM, our room wasn’t ready, and we were asked to wait in the reception area.

There seems to be a notable influence from booking agents in Andaman, as they handle the majority of reservations. According to one staff member, agents sometimes book a 12-hour window, which is sufficient for a night stay but incurs a full day’s rate for customers. While the hotel team isn’t responsible for this, as the agents control the bookings, it’s something to be aware of.

In terms of pool safety, there are pot-like structures placed near the children’s pool intended for fountains. Their positioning, however, could pose a risk, as children might accidentally get hurt. I recommend removing these structures to ensure safety. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

  5. The only highlight of our stay at Haywizz Resort was the swimming pool—both the public and private pools were great. However, the service was disappointing. The shower knob in our room was broken, we had asked them to fix it, but it wasn’t fixed. We also faced issues with hot water and after several follow ups, someone came but couldn’t resolve it, forcing us to heat water in an electric kettle.
The food was another letdown. We ordered Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani and Butter Garlic Squid, but neither lived up to the price or taste expectations. Both chicken and squid felt undercooked.
On the positive side, the buffet breakfast was enjoyable, and the tea was excellent. While the resort has potential, the poor service and food quality need serious improvement.
