Very nice hotel..Staff is good..Reasonable Price..Food is good..Rooftop dine-in..Lake side view..but the con is you have to climb around 30-40 stairs to get there..it may not be the con for those who wants to stay on mall road but in a peaceful environment..They also have lift but u have to climb stairs to get there..one more thing is the cleanliness..they should try to focus more on the cleanliness..don’t give used bedsheets and blankets. Otherwise overall experience was good..
It was a nice experience to stay at Hotel Ambassdor, Nainital.
The location is in front of Nainizeel which is amazing. It has 2 Terraces in front of Nainizeel. There is a Rooftop Restaurant on top Floor. Food quality is good.
There was a 5 seater Sofa with attached room, almost in all rooms. Table, Cupboards, TV in all rooms. All wooden furniture adds a good value in living here. Bathrooms have good enough space with hot water facility.
The Kitchen gets started by 8 am. as Usually all over the hill station hotels.
The Hotel is 50 Steps high from road height. So Senior Citizens should take care for it. It has 3 Floors with internal lift.
Its above Hotel Signature. Board cant be identified easily.

I never expected a hotel like this with great views. Very satisfied with the room and position. Love this 10 on 10. I’m from Kolkata and I like the hotel very much and those who are from Kolkata leave a foot step here.

I feel this is the most underrated hotels on mall road nainital.
This is the best hotel i have ever stayed at mall road besides climbing 40 stairs is not an issue for you.
Here is a summarized overview of this place:
1. Booking : since this hotel is not available for online bookings , the best is to call them up or maybe visit them.
2. Rooms: They have best budget family modern rooms with double and single occupancy.
3. Hygiene: rooms, lobby and the gallery areas are neat & clean. Check in worry free.
4. Food & Dining: they serve the best homely meals and moreover they have an epic rooftop rest with mesmarising views
5. Views: you can experince best views of mountains and naini lakes from outside of your rooms, as rooms are available with a wide common balcony.
Cons:
The only issue is climbing 40 50 stairs which can be a task for senior citizens or pateints.
P.S. Views and services are worth climbing stairs
