Name is deceptive. No Ganga views at all. Long walk to hotel. steep steps to climb. Wanted a ground floor room but they couldn’t help. The website is not an accurate description of the property. But it’s affordable.
Great experience. Lovely , caring customer service. Clean rooms, great breakfast and beautiful garden layout. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
Uttarakhand hotel owners do not bother customers in Peak season May month. They know India devotees will visit and adjust all troubles in the name of God , Ganga darshan. Neither tour operators nor average hotel owners as well as Uttarakhand tourism, Gadhwal tourism development authority and Indian Central government’s tourism ministry are bothered about devotees trouble in travel traffic jams, parking place, toilets, safety of devotees. All are happy in suffering in the name pilgrimage, chardham darshan. There is no safety for real trekkers at Yamunotri, Kedarnath as horses and dolly walas push them as their birthright. No planning of how many devotees can be accommodated in a day for darshan. Common persons suffer and suffer a lot.
Hotel staff behaviour is so rude , they refused to take friends to room , tv was not working, room is also very low standard, 1500 is too much , wifi is not available also and internet is not working, terrible experience ever.
You can choose this if you’re getting room within 1500. You’ll not be getting ganga view as suggested in the title unless you book a premium room with extra money although you can visit the common balcony to view gangaji. It is not worth more than 1500 per day (2023). Rooms are somewhat dirty but manageable. Toilets are usable. Services are not great. If i want something they say that I have to come down to reception and get it. Like zero hospitality in staff.
