  1. I have booked the hotel couple of week back as me and my family visited Gaya for tour.
We have booked a room for 3 person but hardly 2 member could comfortably stay at the place.
The service is worst in terms of what is mentioned, when we entered the room at morning 2.30 the room was totally a mess, total dust all around the room.
The hotel stated “Best hotel in Gaya”, which is very my opposite to what we experienced.
Neither there was a gyser provided nor there was a mirror in the bathroom.
The shower and the tap water are working together simultaneously.
Except the reason the location is good and easy for anyone to reach the hotel through the railway station.
I would not suggest anyone taking this hotel, there are other hotels better to first look the room and then book rather then paying any advance and take the room what they provide.

  2. Unfortunately I can give the Hotel Gaya International only a 2 star rating and this is for the following reasons:

    – In our double room just 1 towel was provided. On that formerly white towel there was a red mark on rather beige tissue.
Also the cover of the blanket was missing.

    – After pointing out those issues to the guy at the front desk I was made to believe that the problem has been understood and that they would provide a new towel as well as a cover for our blanket.

    – When we came back from our tour to the temples we wanted to have a shower but realized that neither towel nor cover has been provided in the meantime.
I went back to the guy at the frontdesk and he wanted to get rid of me and said they would provide it in 20minutes – which I declined. Only after that he led me to a different room and gave me the towel from there.
Then I tried to explain about the cover (with sign language). Unfortunately in the spare room there was also no cover so I received it 30mins later. I was sitting with my family and nobody had covers for their bedroom sheets. It took another hour and a talk to the general manager until all of the 3 rooms got their covers.

    – It felt as if we were disturbing the staff there and the tone was rather unfriendly even though all of our complaints adressed reasonable topics about basic equipment of the room.
Also checkin and checkout process seemed very bureaucratic with a lot of paperwork.

    – The windows were not built-in properly and we were not able to close them properly. So we woke up to busy street traffic.

    – I would expect this from a hostel but an “international” hotel should at least have a front desk employee that is capable of speaking and understanding english.

For this experience I would have given the hotel only one star but they also had some pros that I want to mention and that contributed to an overall 2 star rating

    – Hygenic circumstances were rather good
    – Good water pressure in the shower and hot water supply.
    – AC and its remote were working.
    – Fan and regulator were working.
    – The guy at the front desk called us after we left and told us about a bluetooth box we forgot.

  3. Very poor condition of rooms. AC not working. Price is too high. Not recommended at all. Service is zero. There is amalgamation of swagat, ajatasatru and gaya international. I booked in swagat , but receiptionist sent me to gaya international by saying it is international. But truth is that it is very cheap quality lodge, not upto national quality mark. Not recommended to stay at Gaya international.
