This is kind of government hotel in jawalamukhi. It is nearby to jawala mata ji temple. Ambience of this hotel is very good. The food tastes good. The food service is also very fast. You can easily relocate to jawala ji temple from this hotel.
We stayed overnight in a Deluxe Room on first floor. Excellent location, very close to corridor to Maa Jawalaji Mandir. However, it has old worn-out furniture and mattresses. Bathroom fittings too are old fashioned.
Restaurant is good.
Sufficient parking 🅿️ is available on site. Food was served fresh and piping hot.
They were about to close when we reached and still served a group of over 10 people.
The food was not good at all and it was not cooked well either and the food which I liked, I said that it is raw but it is ok but there was a hair in it and the dal had a smell. And I showed the hair I found in the food to Stewart after stepping aside. But he did not respond.
So I will give the zero rating for this hotel.
Rather the guy I told this to could have told me that this will change your food suddenly but this does not respond to anything.
Very shameful state of HPTDC Jwalaji hotel. Almost everyone staying here comes for religious purpose. The staff is corrupt and unwilling to work. Maintenance of hotel is extremely poor.
Dormitory is dirty and full of garbage. Furniture is rotting away.
HPTDC should close this hotel so that atleast customers are not harrassed. I have faced horrible experience twice in this hotel. PLease stay away and avoid bad experience.
