  1. Good evening. We stayed at Mon Paradise for 3 nights Nov 24th to Nov 26th. I has booked the room in July after speaking to Ms.Norbu and Ms.Jaima. An unexpected change in check in date happened and they complied with no hassle. We took a first floor room as we are a senior citizen couple. A huge glass window gave us the joy of waking up to the mountains or the clouds kissing the mountains. The reception area with the fragrance of incense, all the little artefacts related to Buddhism and the frame of His Holiness Dalai Lama and the Buddha makes it warm and welcoming. At the desk Ms.Norbu and the other gentleman are always there to help us. Sorry cannot remember his name. They would call us punctually at 7.30am for breakfast. The buffet spread was yummy and good variety. We ordered dinner by 7pm and was served piping hot. Tasty, healthy vegetarian soups were served at night on our request. As lovers of chai, we would often request a cup of hot masala tea to be sent to our room. Great refreshing chai was sent everytime. A wooden clothes stand, pegs to hang things, a WONDERFUL HEATER, plug points near the bed, wood empanelled floor and walls made our stay super comfortable. The temperature was low , tough to bear for a Mumbaikar but the heater was a blessing. Our driver stayed at the hotel at no extra cost. There are 2 young boys are always ready to help . We enjoyed our stay and wish the team at Mon Paradise the very best.

  2. A good hotel in Tawang, it was clean and staff were very helpful. The hotel owner were very kind to help us with good information and getting us Bumla permits. Good staff who helped us during our stay

  3. So this was my 5th visit to Tawang and I stayed in dondrup homestay , hotel taktsang and really liked my stays before and was wondering this time to stay near the Nehru market but due to fog and a bit of birding we reached around 8 pm and saw moonlight a shack serving roti thali with rajma etc ate and decided to check the hotels that start frm there onwards to the market centre and thn to all the way to the monastery but as this was off season I was warned service team would not be there and many hotels were shut. It was peak monsoon starting time.anyways Mon paradise was the only hotel we saw and they offered us at much below the quoted rates and we had to take stairs to fourth floor and my guests had a budget and so I decided to stay here only and mutually I made the deal with the owner and the guests . ‘No breakfast ‘ was the owners retort and well we did get a fair room only price. I ate all my meals there and quite liked the biryani and the mushroom curry , peas pulao etc . The service was great and its a small cozy place but rooms are spacious airy and they have good views. Even the location is quite nice only that the one way makes you drive 2-3 kms each time you want to go left towards the war memorial or ghty highway . Anyway Tawang is a small town and it was really good during the offseason and we got actually just cloudy and sunny days on and off for almost all days barring the last day which again was rainy . Weather was great and I like it when Tawang is not too cold .In end October and in end March both time I was there when it’s really not that cold was quite cold for me . So do try this hotel which is great value , decent effort in making you comfortable with big towels and clean linen and good location with ample parking and decent menu to keep you happy and full .Best wishes to the team .

  4. Rooms are neatly kept.
But the room alloted to us was having no view. All went could see were next building wall with full ghutka and pan spittings.
The hotel doesn’t have a lift. After a long day and also frequent going out, it becomes hectic to climb steps!!!

Frequent power cuts were there! We had just returned from shivering Bumla and there was no power. We had worst time…no got water …no heater…

The days we stayed, the cook was not there. They somehow managed the show with few food items. But I had severe stomach ache.

    Bad to the core!

    Won’t recommend at all!

    Only and on
