My stay at Hotel Nalanda Residence was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, from accommodating my requests to providing top-class service with a genuine smile.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the culinary experience. The food at Hotel Nalanda Residence is nothing short of extraordinary. Each meal was a delightful journey for the taste buds, with a perfect balance of flavors and impeccable presentation. I recently hosted a function at Hotel Nalanda Regency, and I must express my utter disappointment and frustration with the experience. If you’re considering this hotel for your event, read this carefully before making any decision:
1. Rude and Aggressive Staff Behavior:
The staff, particularly the catering team, displayed shocking behavior towards my guests. One of my guests simply requested to be served cake, and the staff member, in an outright disrespectful manner, aggressively put a huge chunk of cake on her plate with his hand and sarcastically said, “Lijiye, kha lijiye.” Is this the kind of hospitality you expect at a reputed hotel?
2. Unprofessional Catering Team:
During the function, the catering staff completely abandoned their stations, leaving all the food counters unattended. This forced my guests to serve themselves, creating a chaotic and embarrassing situation. The staff’s absence was noticed by everyone, and the self-service arrangement was far from what was promised.
3. Counting Plates for Starters – Unheard of Behavior
The staff was openly counting plates for starters. It felt like they were monitoring how much food was being taken as if they were trying to control portions. This is something you expect from a cheap roadside vendor, not a supposedly reputable hotel! It made the entire situation awkward and uncomfortable for my guests.
4. Incompetence in Managing Events:
The hotel staff showed no professionalism or courtesy throughout the function. There was no event coordination, and they failed to meet even the basic expectations of hospitality. Their behavior was not only rude but outright disgraceful for a hotel in the service industry.
Had a good time. Well behaved Staffs. Good food. Will visit again in future.
Very nice and clean hotel. We ordered food to our room and the nice hotel staff named Diwakar took great care of us. The food was delicious!
Food is very tasty and served hot and ready. Rooms are also very spacious and comfortable. Service was also very appreciable, special mention to Vijay’s service.
