I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The service was atrocious, and the receptionist’s rude behavior set a terrible tone for our stay. The rooms were smelly, and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it impossible to rest properly. While it seems the management has invested in the infrastructure, they have completely neglected the service aspect, which is the backbone of the hospitality industry. Hotels should represent hospitality, especially for visitors from outside Assam, and this establishment fails miserably in that regard. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The manager’s behavior was completely unprofessional. They were rude and clearly have no idea how to communicate with customers. Instead of addressing our concerns politely, they misbehaved with us. It was shocking to see such poor customer service. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.
1. Upon arrival (2 ladies), I was initially denied parking but eventually parked on the opposite side of the road.
2. From the opposite side of the road, I carried all the luggage by myself. When noticed by security, instead of voluntarily helping me to carry the luggage, I was simply asked, “Do you need help with your luggage?”
3. After checking in, I found the room unclean. (The hotel staff mentioned it was due to the 2nd-anniversary celebration the previous day).
4. I was shifted to another room, which was even dirtier, with paan stains on the bathroom wall and a broken toilet seat.
5. Finally, I was asked to move to a relatively cleaner room.
6. Returning from the family function at 11:30 p.m., I was not allowed to park in the parking area by the security even after having 1 parking space available. Despite requests, security refused to let me park until I requested the manager.
Overall experience was disappointing, except for the good breakfast.
Worst experience ever
The so called manager’s behaviour was worst, was there for a bday celebration but they cancelled it in last minute despite prior booking. Their manager doesn’t have the basic decency to talk to a female, very aggressive behaviour. You better change your so called power hungry manager otherwise your place will be shut within 6 months bcz of his behaviour. I am not going to recommend anyone to go there.
Google doesn’t have the option where you can rate zero star and write a review , had to give one star to write this review. No doubt they have very good ambience and location but the behaviour of the manager Mr Jim Kumar Bora is very rude. He doesn’t have the decency to apologise after behaving in a rude manner. The paid reviews are just a cover to hide the harsh reality. If one is in such kind of industry he/she should have good manner, but the manager lacks such manner.
