Me and my wife travelled here as a couple, these rooms are value for money. But the service from the hosts is 100% they could not of looked after us any better. The location for us was perfect close to all the good restaurants and beaches close by. The resort also has their own restaurants which is one of the best on the island.

The hotel has a great location, and the owner’s behavior was very welcoming and professional. However, the rooms were not well-maintained, with issues like a bad smell and the presence of a lizard, which affected the stay. A major downside was the behavior of the lady at the reception counter, who was unprofessional and lacked manners. She added extra charges to the dinner bill, and instead of admitting her mistake when pointed out, she became argumentative. Thankfully, the owner intervened, acknowledged the mistake, and promptly issued a corrected bill, which was appreciated.
The food was good, and the rest of the staff (other than the receptionist) was helpful. If the hotel focuses on maintenance and proper staff training, it has the potential to become an excellent place to stay.
I recently stayed at Hotel JK Resort from 4th to 6th December 2024 and booked a total of 4 rooms. The overall stay was decent, but there were a few issues that need attention.
Firstly, the lady at the front desk was quite unprofessional and lacked the skills to deal with customers. Her behavior was irritable and unhelpful, which left a negative impression. However, the owner of the hotel was exceptionally polite, calm, and approachable, which helped improve the experience to some extent.
The property is quite old and requires maintenance. I would like to suggest the following to the owner:
Focus on maintaining cleanliness in the surroundings.
Ensure that rooms are hygienic and well-prepared to meet customer needs.
Pay attention to bathroom fixtures such as taps and showers; regular cleaning and maintenance are essential.
If these areas are addressed, I’m sure customer reviews will significantly improve.
Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but the mentioned shortcomings need attention. I hope to see improvements in the future.
Third class hotel, no amenities, despite power backup they will cut off the power to kick you out early on your check out day..not recommended
