Nice rooms with a great view. Unfortunately, however, we did not feel very comfortable here. The owner was very rude and not welcoming at all. When we arrived (wearing our backpacks) she asked us whether we were sure that we’re in the right place since “this is an upper price place with very nice and clean rooms”. (By the way, the rooms are also not that clean. The towels had stains on them, the floor was dusty and the shower drain clogged. In general not that big of a deal but with a bittersweet taste after such ‘kind’ welcoming words.) When checking out she tried to trick us into paying more for our room saying that it came with breakfast included (which we neither wanted nor consumed) even though on the website you can choose the room with or without breakfast. She also commented on our physique saying that she thought we might just have skipped breakfast because we are so skinny. The rest of the staff was nice though.
Overall, we would not choose to go to this place again, even though it has a lot of potential.
Just an absolute gem of a place.
Firstly its Kasar and then Rainbow. Located at the most blissful places.
Very naice view of the valley and the mountains. The food quality is completely authentic. Must try the italian and pahadi food.
Must visit.
It was a peaceful and soothing stay. The property owner (Mr Sabu) is a very humble and jolly person. Mr Hansraj, manager, is also a very helpful person and will make you feel like home..
Beautiful sunrise, clean rooms and good food.
A calm and serene place. The owner has done good work in bringing a high standard to the place. For example: UPVC windows are airtight, so we didn’t feel the cold in November, without any heater. We had a corner room so we had highly sunlit stay. Best thing- Nanda Devi peak visible from my bed.
Great mountain hotel and people! I truly enjoyed my stay there, which served as a safe harbour before and after the 6-day hike in the Himalayas. The food is very good and excellent (my favourite was paneer bhurji). The rooms are comfortable. The only thing you need to figure out is the time of using the shower to catch the warm water (I found it easy to solve anyway since the rooms are equipped with a kettle). The views are stunning, the air is fresh. I am looking forward to returning here again!
