I stayed for one night. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Room Rate is reasonable ( ₹1,800/ night). Located near a Lake . Sufficient parking space.
The location is great. It’s just a walking distance from the ancient Baijnath Temple. Morning view from the room is also very good. Trisul and Nanda Devi peaks are seen with great view at morning. Room quality looks moderate to good. Food is available on demands. Overall, we enjoined our stay.
After you look for a destination here is what you would like to spend a night. A splendour view of might trishul and Nanda ghungti adds sugar to your morning tea. Being near to river add the chill you will certainly feel in your nerves. A cold evening will only end after the sun is shining bright in the sky. Ordering a tea and sipping it sitting outside your room will be a never forgetting moment.
The rooms are a varity of what your pocket allows you.
No matter where you are going or coming from this place is one of the best destinations to stay overnight.
The Manager Mr. Ramesh Kapkoti were very soft spoken and guided us well.(although it’s a semi govt place so managers might change from time to time but What my experience say is that all managers are well trained and all the exceptional. Food is cooked on order basis and quality of food is very good. You want to eat more and more.
This KMVN Rest House (Uttrakhand Gov. Ownwed Property) is a well maintained with good location. Staff is humble n food quality is good with reasonable prices.
Stay charges are nominal with good facilities n amenities.
This place has a clear view. The Great Himalayas (Snow Covered Mountains).
Holy Baijnath Temple is adjacent to this place.
The ambience and staff are good. But the food is over priced, I have attached the menu. The rooms are renovated and better. But the chairs and mattress in standard room are in bad conditions. The flooring is really dirty. There is a need to have feedback forms for guests so that valuable feedback can be given. But KMVN need to maintain the infrastructure then only staff can be motivated to give their best services.
