Visited during second week of September. Great location. However the rooms have to be renovated, room and bed were smelling damp. Lots of mosquitoes. Very old tv. Old furniture. Bathroom n toilets were neat and clean. Room and amenities definitely needs improvement.
Superb location. Food was good. But the property needs maintenance. The double bed rooms near the reception need maintenance specially in toilets. Otherwise , good
Rooms are ill maintained, service is very poor. Opt for cottages which are not only costly but also you have to climb numerous steps. Food is very costly.

So KMVN Kausani has its reception at the base and then has a series of rooms and cottages as you keep taking the road going uphill (the tariff increases with the height).
The rooms are gorgeous though, and the view even more so. It is surrounded by quiet tranquility, and you can hear crickets chirruping and birds singing in the morning and evening.
In front is a beautiful view of Trishul peak and the breathtaking view of the valley.
The service is good, you can order tea and snacks in the room. Meals are served in the restaurant only, since the staff has to walk uphill to serve orders.
The staff is amazing and this KMVN is a home away from home!
Great hotel! I have no words to day. Literally, it had very clean bathrooms with a proper room service. They do not disturb us and simply gave us the thing we wanted and went out with a smiling face. They have good facilities and the staffs were so well behaved! We also had a great view from the balcony. It also had cottages for drivers, which gave a great sunset view. So if someone is going to book this hotel, go for it happily
