One of the best affordable rooms you could find in Munnar would be here. The hospitality of both manager/owner Ronny and his assistant Surya was exceptional. Their hospitality was so good that they gave us early check -in and even though the check out time is 11 am, they allowed to keep our luggage safe under surveillance until evening.
Ronny also owns a good shop which has good collection of spices, chocolates and tea leaves.
Ronny also helped us with a rented scooter through his contacts.
Foreign nationals are also welcome at Landy Queen.
I recently stayed at the Landy Queen Hotel, and it was an experience worth remembering. The hotel offers a stunning view that adds a serene touch to the overall ambiance, making it a perfect retreat for those looking to unwind.
The stay was incredibly pleasant, with comfortable rooms that were clean and well-maintained. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The owner is exceptionally kind and always willing to help. Whether it was offering recommendations for local sightseeing or suggesting reliable drivers, the owner ensured that all our needs were met.
What impressed me most was the instant assistance provided at any time of day or night. Whether it was a small request or a larger issue, help was just a call away. This level of service truly made our stay at the Landy Queen Hotel feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
Amazing place, well maintained, owned with love by a very friendly family. Affordable place in the center of munnar, lots of recommendations from owner. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable, hot water and pressure both good. I would really recommend this place !!
Stayed for 4 nights starting from 20th September 2024.
Booked a room at Landy Queen after reaching Munnar. It is centrally located in the town.
The owner Mr. Roney is an exceptionally friendly and polite person.
All the rooms are in budget category. The rooms are maintained well and very clean. Hot water is available 24 x 7. There is a generator to handle any power- cuts.
There is no inhouse kitchen. However, this should not be a problem as all the good restaurants are in a walking distance.
In short, it is most certainly a value for money staying option in Munnar.
Normally I don’t write reviews, I only read the them. I thought I would break my rule for the wonderful hospitality of Mr Roney. 👍
Hotel located in the main area of Munnar. Just a few mins away from the bus stand.
We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Clean room , 24/7 hot shower, kettle will be available.Easy for transport too, Safe and secured hotel for family and couples as well.
At last Mr.Roney, A man who gives the best service , the way he spoke to us is too humble, down to the earth. Extremely knowledgeable and too professional. He knew all the details you wanted. Booking a room in this hotel is like renting a mentor for your trip.
If you are planning to visit munnar and want a stay near munnar town just go for it.
