Location is very good
Rooms are also fulfilling basic needs. Service is bit slow if the owner is not present around. Even some mismanagement also occurred when the owner Mr Krishna Pathak was not there.
The owner was very humble and helpful person
He guided us so well. He arranged Jeep safari and elephant safari accordingly.
This place is good for staying in peace inside Manas National Park . However, rooms are quite overpriced with things missing which are used in our day to day lives (NO TV AND NO MIRROR). Also the food is quite expensive, with an average of Rs 150 per head, per meal with only 3-4 items. Also Jeep safari is around Rs 7100 for full day safari and Rs 5000 around for half day safari
This is the second time i visited this place and as usual this was an awesome experience. Krishna Pathak and his team is always helpful in every aspect . Food was as usual good and they arranged food as per our request as well.
I am updating my earlier review having had an unpleasant experience with the manager. Just make sure u fix rates for everything in writing with this guy or else be ready for unexpected price changes.
Comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, friendly. Clean rooms, hot food, and a cheerful smile. Good value for money but u need to be clear on the pricing. Online booking isn’t much help. Direct call and fix but rates tend to creep up in each call. 😉
Would definitely stay there again. Oh yes! Needs chair and table in room if u want to work but then the dining area is also open for such use.
Never stay here with booking just over phone call. Get a booking receipt at the very first regarding per day, per head price of room & food. At first the price appears to be so cheap but if you are not clarified at the very beginning, then you have to pay hefty amount during checkout. The owner, Mr. Krishna seems to habitually alter telephonic booking price and at the end, you have to pay extra amount which may lead to 10,000/- plus. The heavy amount that you paid here, you may get even better accommodations and food nearby. So be cautious & get clear idea of pricing pattern before booking here. From my experience, I can suggest never book the place (or any other place anywhere) by only viewing the YouTube or Facebook promotional reviews or video/s which earns kinds (like free jungle safari, food etc) in return. Nowadays, this happens almost in many cases, including eateries. My suggestion is please don’t be misguided by misleading & overexpressive informations. After all this is your hard-earned money that you ultimately lose. Always rely on Google map or dependable travel sites and sources.
