  1. Manas park has a very big area extended upto Bhutan border.location of view jungle resort is near the manas park. It’s good resorts.

  2. Best in class hotels near Manas wildlife sanctuary. I bet you would not regret staying here. You may ask for music and campfire 🔥 in case you have a group.

Best time to visit is December to January.

  3. This resort is not recommended unless you have tight budget.

The only best thing about this resort is location. Let me tell you why I will not ever book this resort again:
    1. Overpriced rooms : 1600/room
Room rent is not fixed. Our friends who stayed there a night before paid 1400/room. 800-1000 would have been ideal.
    2. Room hygiene: Average. Pillows and blankets were old and smells awful.
    3. Bathroom: Not maintained. Bucket and mug were very dirty.
    4. Hot water: Not available. We asked for some and they replied “why do you need hot water in summer? Tanks is in the top and it’s already hot because of sun.” Well it was not at 10 am.
    5. Other room issues: Fans in some of the rooms were not running at Max speed. Rooms were not painted in years. No TV. Generator available till 1 am at night.
    6. Mosquito: No mosquito net was provided.
    7. No rooms for drivers.

Now let me talk about food and services:
    1. Water bottle: 500ml water bottles charged @ ₹15/bottle with MRP of ₹10/bottle.
    2. Dinner: Non-veg 350/pax; Non-veg local chicken 400/pax
The food was tasty and good.
    3. Breakfast: 150/pax
Extremely over priced for bread and butter. Even 3* hotels would have charge less.
    4. Tea: Were cold every time they served.
    5. Other room services: Not available.

  4. We booked three rooms for two days in March, 2022. This is located just across the bounadry fence if the national park. We found barking dear in our campus marauding at night. We found plenty of birds in those trees around the campus.

The experience was not at all pleasing. The rooms are overall good, clean, spacious and have a vintage smell. But those rooms lack regular and appropriate maintenance. Bathrooms were also not maintained. The electric wiring and switch boards were ill maintained, not working at all. Geysers were not working but connections were there.

The double bed rooms were charged INR 2000 per day though as per the services provided to us, it was overpriced. No one ever visited our rooms for floor and bathroom cleaning, no one ever offered water to our rooms. Not a single water bottle was kept in the room for basic complement.

Foods, were unsuprisingly served irregularly, we asked for dinner at 9 and we got it at 11.30. The price even more, a bowl of rice were charged INR 200 and it was of basic quality, do not expect anything close to Basmati or Dehradun or any premium one. Chapatis, for instance, were basic ones cost us INR 20 per piece. This is what we call looting. If the quality is of that standard, we had no issue paying for that. But Forest tourism dept is showing lackadaisical attitudes in providing basic amenities to the guests. And thats why the private players have gone far ahead in this industry. I hope the assam govt will pay attention in reviving the standard of this resort so that a higher standard can be sustained.

  5. Its not a resort. But the staff and manager are very helpful in making the stay nice and comfortable. Enjoyed homely food and also the bonfire lit by the hotel. The food is not readily available though and should be ordered well in advance, this is because of the remoteness of the location. All and all, worth every penny spent on it.
