We booked this hotel for two days in Guwahati. We had to pay all the money in advance for this. After arrival we were given two rooms which were completely clean, the plaster was removed from the walls and the blankets were also dirty. Even after informing the hotel authorities, they did not cooperate in any way. If we wanted hot water for food, they took extra charge. There was no geyser in the bathroom…we book 2 Double bed standard room
Good place to stay. Also has its own restaurant whose service is fast but utensils are old seems like used. Washroom is clean but have a lot of wear tear due to which the utilisation is okayish. But its location is good which makes this optimum place to stay in guwahati, it is close to cruise and kamakhya temple.
The hotel rooms are just pathetic. They are charging 2200 for a room and the condition of the rooms are horrible. The paint on the wall is just falling off. The Sofa is so dirty that you won’t feel like sitting on it. Looks like this hotel has never been maintained well after its construction. They just have good reception area to attract customers and nothing else. The people at reception are so slow that they take a hell lot of time to serve a single customer. Not supportive at all.
I stayed for 3 days 2 nights with family non AC deluxe room.
At first I was very impressed with the location and reception area with the look and feel.
However after I checked in the room all my good thoughts turned out to nightmare.
The hotel building is an old establishment and need a serious renovation.
Lack of ventilation, very suffocating and uncomfortable stay.
They didn’t even serve complementary drinking water. I had to buy everytime I needed drinking water.
The only best part of the hotel is location. Very good connectivity
I had called the Mayur Guwahati number several times to have a room reserved in 21/12/2024 but very casual response from the receptionist. Her response was we cannot reserve the room, rooms unavailable etc. I have checked online rooms were available but receptionist lied.
