I recently had the pleasure of staying for a night at Mezenga 2.0 Hostel, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with positive vibes.
The staff and employees are incredible—friendly, approachable, and always willing to help with a smile. It genuinely felt like being surrounded by family and close friends, which is such a rare find in the hustle of modern hostels.

We were a group of 8 who stayed in their dormitory arrangement, and we absolutely loved it! The experience was so great that we’ve already decided to stay here again whenever we visit Guwahati.
The location is excellent—just a short distance from Beltola Market—and they offer ample parking space, which was very convenient. The beds were clean, and the bathrooms were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
The best part? The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service and facilities provided. It’s a fantastic value for money!
I highly recommend this place, whether you’re traveling solo or in a group. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and affordability.
I think the owner doesn’t really care about the people coming into this place. The place looks good but the caretakers do not care about it at all.
Came in and gave us the wrong room. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned even when I called and informed them at least 4 hours ago that we’re checking in. There was no drinking water also. Definitely not worth the price so kindly look for some other homestay or hotel if you’re in Guwahati.
I know I’ll get a nasty reply for this review like I’ve seen in the other reviews. But trust me, NOT WORTH IT.
Location and hostel was good. I stayed for 2 nights and wanted to extend but the behaviour of the staff made me check out. Wished they had better people to manage the property. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, although I don’t think they change the beddings after each check out. The pillow cover was stinking and the sheets didn’t look washed or cleaned.
The staff here is very helpful and cooperative. The food is okay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is okay. Most recommended stay at this price.
