Stayed with my husband for 2 days – just checking out in fact 😊. Wonderful location with warm hospitality. The rooms are very well maintained, staff is ever smiling n helpful. Highlight of the property is the access to Ganga – it is a trek for the fit though ! The property has lots of steps – could be difficult for the elderly.
The chef makes some wonderful dishes – would definitely recommend. Few suggestions- making a ramp would make it accessible for all. Light music in the evenings and an Aarti could really add to the charm of this wonderful place . Keep up the amazing service 😁
Pros:
–
–
1. Top-notch hospitality and professionalism
2. Outstanding food quality
3. Peaceful, serene and in the middle of nature with fresh air and greenery all around
4. If you’re into bird-watching, this place will be all the more interesting for you since various species of birds inhabit the resort property and rooms are named after them.
5. Ideal for young couples, children and honeymooners, with activities like bungee-jumping and river-rafting available within a very short driving distance.
6. Trekkers might find the trek from the property down to the Ganges enjoyable.

Cons:

1. The name is misleading, since neither ‘glasshouse’ nor ‘on the Ganges’ are true for the property. What this name refers to is another older property, from what we understood. The river flows at a distance from the property and like I mentioned, you need to trek down to it. The trek route is not suitable for everyone.
2. This resort is NOT AT ALL suitable for elderly people, since there is a lot of climbing up and down rocky steps to reach the dining room and other facilities like spa. There’s practically nothing to do for elderly folks.
3. The road journey (we went from Delhi) is quite long, especially due to heavy traffic after Haridwar and especially after Rishikesh. It took us 7 hours to cover 250km. During the final approach, that’s a treacherous and snaking mountainous road alternative that Google Maps might show as a faster route, and we took it, but it is a dangerous single lane road with traffic in both directions and no proper embankments and barriers towards the cliff for the most part. While returning, we made sure we didn’t take this road.
4. It might be better to reach Dehradun by flight or train and take a cab from there. The property is only 1.5-2 hours from there.

Overall, for the money we paid, we felt we could’ve gone elsewhere, but that’s because we had elderly parents with us. If you’re in your 20s or 30s and up for some adventure, or just some peaceful time together, this place is worthy of consideration and, in fact, I would recommend it.
I am exhilarated after my holiday at Neemrana. The hospitality is top notch. The food, service is awesome. We indulged in desserts, high tea besides the 3 meals. Every item on the menu was fab.
The rooms are comfortable, clean, aesthetically pleasing and well equipped. The staff is so courteous and helpful.
The icing on the cake, after 4 days in the city Center; Neemrana was an absolute must. The forest, the secluded beach, the hike, the serenity was commendable. They helped us arrange a taxi on short notice and other things too.
Loved the experience. If you’re looking for a getaway from the hustle of your life.. this place is it.. the clean Ganges ❤️❤️❤️
Neemrana’s Glasshouse on The Ganges is a peaceful retreat with stunning river views. The serene environment, combined with exceptional food and top-notch service under Mr. Negi’s leadership, made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility and excellent hospitality.
Had a wonderful experience here! Really nice rooms with a good sit out area. They provide 2 complimentary water bottles each day, which are eco-friendly. They’re made of glass and are sent back to the company to be re-sterilized and re-filled. Loved this gesture to protect the environment. They have a nespresso machine in the rooms and some great options in the breakfast buffet – different cheese options, croissants, muffins, etc apart from the regular food spread. They serve really good coffee options as well during breakfast
We managed to go down to the Ganges (short trek) from their property. That was a really good experience as well!
