I had a mixed experience at this hotel.
Pros: Good access to Bhagirathi river, decent food, good collection of books.
Cons: Too expensive and does not feel worth the money, rooms and facilities provided are okayish, extra charges for basic amenities like sachet tea, room heater etc. inspite of charging such hefty amounts for the room, turning of vehicle is difficult onto the road if moving towards Gangotri, no arrangements for stay of driver on premises.

The manager’s dedication to excellence is evident in every aspect of the resort, from the impeccable service to the attention to detail in every room. Whether you’re seeking adventure on the slopes or simply want to relax and unwind in luxurious surroundings, this mountain resort truly has it all.
Rooms were looking like they were not cleaned frequently. Some had damp smell in them. Staff looked unmotivated.
They charge extra for heater which should have been provided by default in such cold places.
It costed us 6.5k per night for such unmaintained place and that too was charged in advance.
Filthy rooms, filthy wardrobes, filthy bathrooms, smell from bathroom will come in your room, wouldn’t recommend anyone to come n waste their money here, very old hotel, not at all maintained, very old crockeries all yellow n stained from previous use, looks like this hotel needs maintenance, the owner also doesn’t take accountability after telling him about the condition of his hotel, he doesn’t give a fcuk, we paid for 2 nights in advance but after staying for one night, we wanted to leave, he didn’t refund us for the 2nd night. Pls make sure you wait for better hotels to be available, don’t book this cos Prakriti is booked. The only good thing is the view. I wish i hadn’t booked this “resort”, by no standards this place can be called a resort. I don’t think the owner ever visits this place to see if it’s even being maintained.
