The guest house has 2 buildings. I stayed at the old building. It has two kind of rooms,Normal and VIP .Both are AC rooms with satellite TV, a wardrobe and attached bathroom. Normal rooms are about 150 sq ft with 2 single beds. VIP rooms are about 300 sq ft , with a AC drawing room and have a refrigerator and a king size bed and 2 balconies. Current rate are Rs. 1000 and Rs. 2000 respectively. Bed sheets are not upto the mark and bring your own if you can. Food is available in the guest house at a very affordable rate and very hygienic and tasty. Breakfast cost Rs. 75 and veg meal is Rs. 100.
Just superb maintenance by the workers here.
Even after 4 or so years of visiting again, place doesn’t lack care and maintenance. Cleanly maintained, staff readiness.

It has been a great week there in MPCST and its guest house. I went there to attend workshop entitled as,”DNA barcoding and it’s applications in species identification”. Faculty was too good in explaining things and showed us all the biological equipments like PCR, DNA sequencer and other essential machines. The workshop was specific and we extracted genomic DNA from animal tissue (fish) and submitted it’s barcode in BOLD (BARCODE OF LIFE DATABASE) after sequencing it. So friends it is quiet worthy to attend these sort of workshops and to get through things and concepts associated with your queries.
Clean rooms,, good ambience, green environment. Calm place. Nice food.
