Excellent staff and well maintained property. Food is very good. Special thanks to head chef James who suggested good local dishes like thukpa, local fish and a breakfast dish too. Care and attention is given to all the guests.
Pricing is slightly on the upside considering the size of property and amenities. Hence it may be leading to drop in occupancy.
The staff was really kind and hospitable. Food is yummy and has good quantity. There’s a lot to choose from in the menu. This is a huge property and really luxurious. It has own pool, rooms and restaurant with bar. There’s also a small artificial lake and walking trail.
I had the pleasure of staying at Norbu, Dharamsala, for three days this week (and last year as well), and it was nothing short of a dream. The property is beyond beautiful, nestled amidst lush greenery. The food is a culinary delight. The hospitality at Norbu is unparalleled. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels pampered and at home, attending to every need with warmth and professionalism. Every corner of this property reflects elegance.
I would highly recommend Norbu to anyone looking for a serene escape in Dharamsala. It’s an experience that lingers in your memory long after you leave. Five stars, without a doubt!
Taj is only for name’s sake! Staff is confused, zero coordination in between them, they serve you wrong orders if food was ordered. No first aid box at the property, managers don’t take responsibilities for anything, very causal answers, food quality was bad , they are not sure what desert they have in their menu, they take wrong order n delivery wrong order, on one person contact, no responsible person on property at night, no night manager at Taj’s property. Don’t own up to mistakes and just keep making mistakes n saying sorry for it. Not worth the money, zero value for money, bad staff, bad food, pool was not clean, wifi sucks, do not stay here. Had to argue for 2 hours at 12am for all this. The brownie they serve, must give a hammer with it, toughest brownie ever! Terrible experience, bakery platter for breakfast could only taste like baking power.
Very beautiful location. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating for our requirements. Stunning views. Very clean rooms. And the restaurant offers lots of varieties. The kangri Dham Thali was very delicious 😋
