  1. Mystic Village by Not on Map – Honest Review

Spectacular Views: 360-degree mountain views from the property; you won’t need to go anywhere else for the best sights in Khajjiar!

Warm Hospitality: The local hosts are kind and treat you like family, making it feel like a true home-away-from-home.

Simple & Tasty Meals: Delicious, home-cooked meals that keep your stomach happy, perfect for travel.

Great for Photos: Rustic mud-and-wood cottages make the property an ideal spot for unique photos.

Entertainment: They offer indoor games like carrom, chess, and ludo to enjoy.

Accessible by Trek: A 1.5km trek(500m uphill & 1km downhill) from the main road (they help with luggage). The return trek (90% downhill)through the Khajjiar forest is peaceful and beautiful.

Best for Short Stays: Recommended for a 1-2 night stay. Explore Mini Switzerland in Khajjiar beforehand, then head to Dainkund Peak on your way out.

Special Thanks to Shankar bhaiya, Manish bhai, and Anoop bhaiya for hosting us and providing delicious food and a memorable experience!

  2. It’s a beautiful 360 degrees view village , it’s perfect place for people who like offbeat stays n love being surrounded by nature ….
People are very warm n welcoming inspite of the day to day challenges they must be facing due to its remote location n at times unpredictable harsh weather conditions. Its was very comfortable stay with delicious simple homemade cooked food . Truly recommend this place to people who know the draw backs for staying in remote places with lots of peace of mind away from the city noise. H2O keep up the good work ….. special thanks to Anup for keeping us entertained all the time … 😁

  3. Absolutely magical location away from the crowd, it’s perfect if you want an authentic village experience, no technology, no pollution, no crowds. The rooms were very beautiful and well kept and the food was amazing. The staff was also very friendly. A trekkers paradise

  4. Located in an isolated village surrounded by woods and a scenic beauty, Mystic Village really lives up to its name. Loved everything about this experience from the 2 km short trek to the homestay, the cottages, the food and most specially- the view. This is literally one of those places where you can see the stars so close and clearly.

After talking to the locals, I got to know that they are doing their best to keep the village as safe and natural as possible and live up to the title of “Mini Switzerland”, which is what Khajjiar is also known as. I really hope Khajjiar stays the way it is!

  5. Located at a distance of approximately 2 km from Khajjiar in Bhaloli Village. One need to Trek to reach here. There are two Trek route to reach here. One through Singi Village with nature beside, but a confusing trail to reach here as diversions are not marked. Another is through Pukhri, where we need to take a lot of steps downward through fields. In the return journey one needs to Trek uphill which is a tough task. One should pre-order meal, so that ingredients are arranged by the caretaker, otherwise the option is limited. The place has a beautiful view of the distant snow Covered mountain range. Also the Ravi river view is awesome. I feel the place is ideal for a day trip or maximum for a one night stay, as there are hardly any activities for time pass other than enjoying pristine nature. Locals are helpful and caretakers are good and polite.
