“We had a good time at Novel Hotel. This was our first time staying here while traveling through Guntur, and we wanted to try this new property. Overall, the hospitality and food were excellent, and the service was very responsive.
The only downside was the room size—it felt very congested, with little space for the TV and bed. This is something the hotel should seriously consider improving for a better guest experience.
On a positive note, the food was fantastic! We ordered a variety of starters—fish, prawns, chicken, and kebabs—and everything was delicious. We enjoyed a great evening with tasty food and good service.
I hope the hotel maintains this level of food quality, as we are happy to spend when the food is this good! I would definitely recommend the hotel, but an increase in room size would make it even better.”

I visited this restaurant on November 6th, 2024, and unfortunately, it turned out to be an extremely frustrating experience. The delays were excessive and tested even the most patient of diners. It took 40 minutes for our first appetizer to arrive, and then, after an additional 45 minutes, a staff member informed us that another appetizer we had ordered was unavailable due to the kitchen being “too busy.” This was an unprecedented excuse for a restaurant and left us quite surprised.
To make matters worse, it took another 55 minutes for the remaining two appetizers to arrive. One of them was so spicy it seemed intentional, perhaps in response to our complaints about the long wait.
We then ordered biryanis, but when they arrived, the steward forgot to bring serving spoons. After waiting another 20 minutes, we were finally provided with them.
What was meant to be a fun, family outing turned into a patience-testing ordeal. The management seemed clueless and were not proactive in addressing the issues. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
